Entertainment Roundup: Disneynature's Bears - Earth Day, 2014

Disneynature’s Bears will be the fifth release from Disney’s newest film label.  It will open in theaters on April 18th, 2014 to celebrate Earth Day.  Make plans to see it during opening week as Disneynature, via the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund, will make a donation to the National Parks Foundation, the official charity of America’s national parks.  Check out the adorable bears in the clip below. If you read a lot of blogs you may have heard a common locale mentioned recently: Chicago.  Bloggers from all over the world (literally, from as far away as Australia!) recently descended on the Windy City for a chance to meet up, have some fun, and learn a few things.  I’ve always wanted to attend and this year I was lucky enough to join them.

I was also lucky enough to attend what has been labeled the Biggest Night of Play and shortly you’ll see why.  Sweet Suite is hosted by http://www.TheBigToyBook.com, Joey Fortman from RealMomMedia.com & Charlene DeLoach from CharleneChronicles.com and is an opportunity for bloggers to see some of the hottest toys available, as well as some that are on the horizon.  And not only did we get to see the toys, we were able to play with the toys, too.  Yup, that’s right – hundreds of adults walking around, building with blocks, playing video games, and squeeing like kids on Christmas morning (I may have done a bit of squeeing, myself).

Iron Man 3 Blu-ray Combo Pack w/ Tons of Extras & Special Features #IronMan3

The Marvel folks have just announced some of the cool features that will be included as part of the Iron Man 3 Blu-ray, DVD, and digital copy release in September 2013.  The extras include:

Monsters University

Monsters University - Now Playing #MonstersU

In case you missed it, Monsters University opened last week and topped the box office.  MU took in $82 million during it’s opening weekend and it’s no doubt – it’s a scarily good movie!  If you haven’t seen it yet this weekend would be a good time to do so.  And if you have a Monsters University fan on your hands there are lots of fun MU toys and books available right now (those fraternity and sorority bean bag plushes are awfully cute).
