Ever wonder what might happen when members of multiple fairy tales get together for a party?  Well, we’re about to find out when The Seventh Dwarf releases on July 31st.

Meet Princess Rose and her true love Jack two of the main characters in the upcoming The Seventh Dwarf

It’s the eve of Princess Rose’s 18th birthday.  Everyone in the kingdom has come to celebrate including Snow White, the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella and Red Riding Hood.  But just before the stroke of midnight Bobo, the youngest dwarf, accidentally pricks the finger of Princess Rose (a.k.a. I received these Disney music CDs in order to facilitate my post. All words and opinions are my own.

One of the things I love most about Disney movies is the music that accompanies them.  It always plays such an integral role in the storytelling.  Which is why Disney soundtracks and other Disney music CDs make up a good portion of my music library.

Great new Disney music CDs and soundtracks are available, including Disney's Into the Woods, Guardians of the Galaxy Awesome Mix Vol. 1, Disney Junior DJ Shuffle 2, and Disney Frozen The Songs

Recently I received an awesome mix of Disney music CDs that made the entire family happy.  Bubbles was thrilled with the Frozen and Disney Junior CDs, hubby immediately snagged the Guardians of the Galaxy Awesome Mix Vol. 1 (which I also love), and I was excited to get Into the Woods. Earlier this week we were invited to attend a screening of the new live-action Disney’s Cinderella movie.  After weeks of being snowed in, iced in, sick, and snowed in some more (nearly 18″ the first weekend of March. seriously) it was an evening out that both Bubbles and I were looking forward to.  We made it a complete mother-daughter night with dinner out before the movie.

Disney's Cinderella starring Lily James as #Cinderella

Bubbles was especially excited about the short film Frozen Fever that was showing before Cinderella.  She has been smitten with Elsa, Anna and crew since the moment she first saw them on the screen in Frozen and this was no exception.  She never took her eyes off the screen for the entire thing and only spoke once to tell me, “I love Elsa’s new dress”. Our plans for Valentine’s Day are starting to take shape.  We’ve decided to go out to lunch for a family “date” in the afternoon, and then that night we may do the indoor picnic about which she’s been asking.  Then probably finish up with one of the family-friendly movies for Valentine’s Day that I shared a bit ago.

Kick off Valentine's Day with your kiddos by watching the new Doc McStuffins Cuddle Me Lambie DVD. Includes free Lambie hair clips, too!

In the morning, of course, we’ll have breakfast.  Maybe some heart-shaped toast with peanut butter to go with her yogurt (her breakfast repertoire isn’t very deep).  After that we like to spend a little time snuggling and watching one of her shows together. Continue reading »
