I’ve been thankful to be part of Hasbro’s #PlayLikeHasbro team for awhile now. It’s fun to get to know the hot new Hasbro toys as they are coming out, and my daughter loves testing out the toys they send for us to enjoy.
Most recently we received three new Hasbro toys: My Little Pony Explore Equestria Friendship Express Train with Princess Twilight Sparkle, Transformers: Robots in Disguise Power Surge Optimus Prime, and the Disney Elena of Avalor & Princess Isabel Dolls. Continue reading »
For those of you who love to wait until the last minute to do your shopping, never fear! While there certainly has been a scramble this year for certain toys, the hot Hasbro toys are still available. Here are a few of my favorites that will be under our tree this year.

I’ve always loved board games. Sunday afternoons and many weeknight evenings in my childhood were spent playing any number of different games. As I got older, they would often turn into marathon games where the board would have to be placed aside and revisited later to determine the winner.
Now that I have a family of my own, board games are a tradition we continue. While Bubbles is a little young for many of them, she still loves to join us all, taking part where she can. And if the game is really above her skill level, she participates by rolling the die, spinning the wheel, handing us cards, or just cheering, “You can do it! I have long loved the board game Monopoly. There were some serious marathons of the game in my house growing up, too. My father has more patience than any person I’ve ever met and he would sit for hours upon hours and play with me, long after others had given up.
While the classic version will probably always be my favorite, we definitely are having fun with one of the newest iterations, Monopoly Empire. In Monopoly Empire everything – the properties, the pieces, the cards – get a little shake-up with modern twists. You won’t see a battleship or Board Walk, but you will see a Coca-Cola bottle and Samsung. Continue reading »

We have been having a lot of fun with Play-Doh lately. She has especially loved taking her toy dogs and dinosaurs and having them walk through and make tracks. It was a creative way to play, but I knew they made a variety of Play-Doh kits that would give her even more options.
At first I was just looking for something that cut simple shapes or maybe had a little rolling pin and stamps. But then I came across the Play-Doh Disney Princess Design-a-Dress Boutique set.
