PJ Masks is one of my daughter’s newest favorite shows. In fact, Owlette was a serious contender for her Halloween costume this year.
If you’re not familiar with PJ Masks show it’s about three friends – Connor, Amaya and Greg – who are each 6-years-old. By day, they go to school like everyone else. I’ve been thankful to be part of Hasbro’s #PlayLikeHasbro team for awhile now. It’s fun to get to know the hot new Hasbro toys as they are coming out, and my daughter loves testing out the toys they send for us to enjoy.
Most recently we received three new Hasbro toys: My Little Pony Explore Equestria Friendship Express Train with Princess Twilight Sparkle, Transformers: Robots in Disguise Power Surge Optimus Prime, and the Disney Elena of Avalor & Princess Isabel Dolls. Continue reading »
Depending on where you live, school has either just gone back in or is getting ready to start soon. According to my Facebook stream, back to school shopping is still in full swing as many friends are posting and comparing their school supply lists.
I noticed some odd choices – only yellow notebooks, specific name-brand pencils – that showed up on a few lists. But there are a few items that no one has mentioned that I think are perfect for back to school.
I have to say that Netflix Original Series have become some of my favorite programming over the last few years. There are just so many great shows! And now there’s the new Netflix Home: Adventures with Tip & Oh.
Netflix Home: Adventures with Tip & Oh features the best friend pairing of Tip & Oh, characters from DreamWorks’ movie Home. The series picks up where the movie left off, following the pair as they navigate through the new cohabited world of humans and aliens in which they now live. Continue reading »
Home and work computers were just coming on the scene when I was a kid. My Dad had to take a computer class when I was five or six, and because of that we ended up with one of the popular home computers from the early 80s.
He had a book on coding, and I remember he let me read through it and play around with the computer. I was really young, but I had such a good time making the screen change colors or play music or other things. It set the stage for a love of computers and coding that I still have now.
