Marvel’s Iron Man 3 – Coming May 2013!

Marvel's "Iron Man 3" hits theaters on May 3, 2013

Looks like Tony Stark may need to make a few repairs…

The new trailer for Iron Man 3 is now out and it is awesome!  My family and I are anxiously awaiting its May 3, 2013 arrival.  We’ve been watching our copies of Iron Man, Iron Man 2, and The Avengers to tide us over in the meantime.  It’s hard to get enough of the great Marvel superheros!

Marvel’s Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?

The Middle Halloween special airs tonight!

Patricia Heaton stars as Frankie Heck in The Middle

Recently I and a handful of other bloggers had the opportunity to participate in a phone interview with Patricia Heaton.  She stars as Frankie Heck on ABC’s The Middle, a show that my family loves and watches each week.  Tonight is their Halloween special, which we had the chance to preview, as well.

Patricia Heaton as Frankie Heck in ABC's The Middle Halloween Episode

You’re going to love tonight’s special, called “Halloween III: The Driving”.  I won’t give any spoilers, but I think you’ll be able to relate to what Frankie and the rest of the family goes through.  Sometimes it’s hard to get motivated for Halloween (or holidays in general) and all the “extras” – like putting together costumes, helping out at school events, taking the kids trick or treating.  There’s also a side story line related to the angst of teenagers and driving that I thought was really funny.  A2 has his permit so it’s very relevant to our lives right now. Free Coloring Pages From Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph!

Here are some great free coloring pages for the kiddos from Disney’s new Wreck-It Ralph movie.  I am loving these sheets because they have such an awesome old-school feel to them.  I also really love the color-by-number ones; I remember coloring a lot of those when I was a kid.

Click each image below to open up a full-size version that you can print or save for later.  Be sure to check out Wreck-It Ralph on Facebook and Twitter, too, and check it out in the theaters when it opens next weekend!

Are you an Avengers fan?

Our family is a group of huge Marvel movie fans.   We first fell in love with Iron Man a few years ago, and since then each installment of individual Avengers characters has lured us in more and more.  So it should be no surprise that the members of our household are all anxiously counting the days until next week’s release of The Avengers.  All of the Avengers together in one huge blockbuster?  It doesn’t get much better than that!

Marvel's The Avengers Graphic Novel #MarvelAvengersWMT

Both A1 and A2, as well as my husband and I, all had the chance to see The Avengers in the theater so we know it’s an amazing film.  Leaving the theater I remember both my husband and I commenting about how we couldn’t wait until it came out on DVD so that we could add it to our home library.  So that there was no chance on missing out, we were sure to pre-order a copy.  If you haven’t pre-ordered yours yet, it’s not too late!  Be sure to order from Walmart so you can get the exclusive Avengers Blu-Ray/DVD/Graphic Novel combo pack for $24.96!  Only 100,000 of the graphic novels were printed so it makes for a great collectible.  There are over 100 pages in it, as well.  We have a copy of it and the story, colors, and quality are all great. Official new Lincoln movie trailer!

Daniel Day Lewis as Lincoln in the #LincolnMovie Trailer

The trailer for the DreamWorks Pictures/Twentieth Century Fox Lincoln movie is now available!  I was really excited to watch it and I can tell it’s going to be an excellent movie.  Even in the trailer you can feel the weight of the decisions that were pressing on Lincoln’s shoulders.  I have a feeling I’m going to need a packet of tissues while watching.

Follow Lincoln on Facebook and Twitter so you don’t miss any upcoming announcements!
