Do you know what happens tomorrow?  The stellar hit Guardians of the Galaxy will be released to the cosmos on DVD and Blu-ray.  I’m especially excited because it’s the only Marvel movie we didn’t get a chance to see at the theater this year and I’m itching to be a little more in the know when it comes to Groot, the Star-Lord, and the rest of the group.

We may not have caught the movie yet but each of us already has a favorite part or line thanks to all of the trailers and teaser clips that have been shown.  Like the famous Dancing Groot.  Watching that led me to the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack, also known as “Awesome Mix Vol. 1” (yep, a mixed tape.  Oh the awesome).  Listen to a few of those songs and you’ll have no problem understanding why Groot needed to get his groove on. Disney Sleeping Beauty Diamond Edition Blu-ray + DVD Plus Free Printables & Crafts!

As much as I love all the new Disney movies, there will always be a special place in my heart for the classics.  So I was really happy when they released the Sleeping Beauty Diamond Edition Blu-ray/DVD combo a few weeks ago.  Sleeping Beauty is only the 10th film released as part of the prestigious Blu-ray Diamond Edition collection.

Bubbles knew of Sleeping Beauty from some of her books but had never watched the movie.  I was offered a review copy so when it arrived, we sat down that night to get her caught up on the story of Aurora, Maleficent, Prince Phillip and the sweet fairies Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather.  Bubbles was familiar with them more than any of the characters, as they are also characters in the Sofia the First TV show. Are you an Avengers fan?

Our family is a group of huge Marvel movie fans.   We first fell in love with Iron Man a few years ago, and since then each installment of individual Avengers characters has lured us in more and more.  So it should be no surprise that the members of our household are all anxiously counting the days until next week’s release of The Avengers.  All of the Avengers together in one huge blockbuster?  It doesn’t get much better than that!

Both A1 and A2, as well as my husband and I, all had the chance to see The Avengers in the theater so we know it’s an amazing film.  Leaving the theater I remember both my husband and I commenting about how we couldn’t wait until it came out on DVD so that we could add it to our home library.  So that there was no chance on missing out, we were sure to pre-order a copy.  If you haven’t pre-ordered yours yet, it’s not too late!  Be sure to order from Walmart so you can get the exclusive Avengers Blu-Ray/DVD/Graphic Novel combo pack for $24.96!  Only 100,000 of the graphic novels were printed so it makes for a great collectible.  There are over 100 pages in it, as well.  We have a copy of it and the story, colors, and quality are all great.
