I participated in an Influencer Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for HoneyBaked Ham. I received a gift card to facilitate my shopping trip and to thank me for participating.

There are a lot of traditions that are created and celebrated around the holidays.  Growing up, Christmas Eve was always at my Great-Grandmother’s house, where we had the opportunity to see family that we didn’t otherwise see the entire year.  Later we moved to having Christmas Eve rotate between my Mom and my Aunt’s house, where everyone had the opportunity to nosh on an eclectic mix of foods from spicy chicken wings to lobster stew.

HoneyBaked Ham #MC

When I married my husband, I married into a new Christmas Eve tradition.  My in-laws always serve a HoneyBaked Ham on Christmas Eve, complete with Hawaiian-style rolls to make sandwiches, plus lots of sides and other appetizers.  Before that I had only heard of HoneyBaked Ham, as they weren’t readily available where I grew up in Maine. Disney’s Saving Mr. Banks is in theaters right now, and DreamWorks Pictures’ Need for Speed releases in the spring.  Here is a look at both of them, plus a free Saving Mr. Banks iBook for you to download!

Saving Mr. Banks

Tom Hanks as Walt Disney in Saving Mr Banks

Saving Mr. Banks is one movie I have been seriously counting the days for since I originally learned of it’s creation.  Now that Ashley is home from college she has offered to babysit for us so hubby and I can go after Christmas.  I love the above photo for a lot of reasons, one of which is that I recently had the chance to stand in front of that same Mickey face at Disneyland when visiting the Treasures of Asgard exhibit. This was brought to you by AdvertiseWithBloggers.com and React Mobile. All thoughts and words are my own.

I use a lot of apps on my phone.  Some of them are for work, like Twitter, and my calendar and email.  Others are for fun, like the handful of games I’ve downloaded.  And still others are for shopping – keeping me on top of my shopping list, coupons, weekly sales flyers, and more.

Only one app can probably be considered “important” and that’s my GPS app.  I am not the word’s best navigator without a map, so having GPS installed means I arrive at my destination on the first try more often than not.  But now I have a second app that I consider to be important, and that’s the React Mobile app.

React Mobile App Standard & Family (Coming Soon)

The React Mobile app is a free download for both iPhone and Android (thank you from an Android user!) that enhances personal safety.  It has a “Follow Me” feature that lets contacts that you have designated keep track of your whereabouts.  If you’re someone that likes to run in the park or are heading somewhere unfamiliar, this can grant you – and your loved ones – extra peace of mind. I received Tickety Toc toys in order to facilitate my review.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

If you have toddlers you’re probably familiar with the show “Tickety Toc”.  The adorable twins Tommy and Tallulah are responsible for “chime time” every hour, on the hour.  Their friend, Pufferty the Train, takes them to and from their task each time.  In between, they have lots of fun adventures with their friends McCoggins, Hopparoo, Tooteroo, Madam Au Lait and others.

Tickety Toc Toys

Bubbles loves to sing the theme song (it’s very catchy) and knows a number of the show’s catchphrases, like when Tommy and Tallulah ask each other “Are you thinking what I’m thinking?” and “Well if you’re sure, I’m sure.”  And now thanks to some great Tickety Toc toys, she can create her own adventures for the tick-tocketeers.
