The other day I shared my secret about not loving to do the dishes. So meals that require minimal pots and pans and bowls are right up my alley.
Summer is winding down but you’d never be able to tell by looking at the temperature. It’s been consistently in the 80s and 90s every day, with no end in sight.

Depending on where you live, school has either just gone back in or is getting ready to start soon. According to my Facebook stream, back to school shopping is still in full swing as many friends are posting and comparing their school supply lists.
I noticed some odd choices – only yellow notebooks, specific name-brand pencils – that showed up on a few lists. But there are a few items that no one has mentioned that I think are perfect for back to school.
The other day I was going through some of my the photos I took while I was in California for the Thor & Delivery Man events a few years ago. I wanted to show Bubbles some of the holiday decorations that were up at Disneyland then, plus show her Cars Land.
When we looked at the pictures of Jack Skellington and him sitting on the pumpkin, I remembered that sometimes they use a Pumpkin Mickey for decor during Halloween. The image kind of stuck in my head and fermented there for awhile. Continue reading »
