I received a Keter MasterCart Rolling Tool Box in order to facilitate my review.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

My love for all things organization ins’t confined to the interior of the house with pretty bins or closet storage systems.  I also love outdoor organization items, especially for the garage.  I’ll own up to my inner geek and admit that when they were still on TV, I would watch those garage makeover shows on the home improvement channels.  I always wished they would come to my house!

Fortunately, hubby is of the same mindset when it comes to keeping the garage organized.  One of the first things he did when we moved into this house was get the garage set up.  Racks and shelves, hooks on the walls – lots of ways to keep it tidy and keep things in place. Continue reading »

I received Eiffel Tower Jewelry as inspiration for my post. All thoughts and words are my own.

There’s always at least one person on my list each year that is kind of hard to shop for.  Whether they’re the person that has everything, or they say they don’t need anything, or the kids are kind of at an in-between age where they’re too old for toys but too young for just clothes and “adult” stuff.  You still want to get them something memorable and special, but what?

My mother-in-law sometimes falls on that “what do I get her?” list.  Sometimes she’ll mention something new she’d love to have, and that’s helpful.  Other times I sit and think and think and think and still come up dry.  But not this year!

Korbella Eiffel Tower Jewelry Made from Pieces of the Actual Eiffel Tower

My in-laws love to travel and last year they did a tour and cruise in Europe.  One of the places they had the chance to visit was Paris, France.  They even brought up back a beautiful candle that commemorates the building.  So when I found Korbella, a company that makes Eiffel Tower jewelry, I knew it would be the perfect gift for my MIL. I received the Sky Viper QuadCopter and other products in order to facilitate my post.  All thoughts and words are my own.

Remote control…. The technology was still a bit limited back then, though, as most of our R/C products were tethered by cords running from the controller to the car.  Even once they graduated to cordless controls they were still a bit clunky – but of course still very fun!

Innovation never stops, though, and today’s R/C toys are pretty amazing.  Some of them, like the remote-controlled Sky Viper QuadCopter, are even a little mind-blowing.  Four-blade copters are one of the hottest trends in the remote control market right now and they’re finally available to the mass market.

Skyrocket Toys R/C Sky Viper QuadCopter

The Sky Viper QuadCopter is the biggest and most technologically-advanced option out there.  It has hobby-grade precision and computer-controlled 6-axis gyro and acceleromete stabilization make this an impressive toy.  The Sky Viper QuadCopter measures 16″ diagonally blade-to-blade and is constructed for both indoor and outdoor use.  So if the weather outside is frightful, kids don’t have to give up the fun. This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of LEGO. All opinions are 100% mine.

Every year we send out special holiday photo cards to friends and family.  It’s actually one of my favorite traditions of the season, one that most people in this area weren’t familiar with until I introduced them to it.  Usually we have our photos taken professionally, but this year with my new camera, I took it, myself.

The kids are great about induldging me, but I’m sure they think it’s kind of silly.  I know growing up I thought our yearly Christmas picture was more annoying than anything else.  Recently, though, I saw a cute new take on sending a holiday greeting that even kids will love.

So, I haven’t posted one of these in awhile because, well, it’s been a little hectic.  But I have a number of great movies, television shows, holiday specials, music, and more that are coming up, releasing, or available now that I want to make sure you don’t miss.  Be sure to pin your favorites below and add them to your calendars!

Holiday Specials

Tickety Toc, airing on Nick Jr., will present it’s new 30-minute special “Christmas Present Time” on Saturday, December 14th.  It will re-air on Tuesday, December 24th, and Wednesday, December 25th.  Tickety Toc covers the antics of 6-year-old twins Tommy and Tallulah.

December Holiday Specials: Tickety Toc "Christmas Present Time"

As Christmas Eve falls upon Tickety Town and all the townsfolk are busy putting their final preparations together for a Tickety Christmas, a sudden crash landing by Santa throws everything into turmoil. The reindeers have caught a chill, Santa’s sleigh is broken and all the presents are spread across Tickety Town. It’s up to Tommy and Tallulah to work together “quickity tickety” and come up with a plan to save Christmas before it’s too late! The festive, fun-filled special also features a Christmas song that will have the whole family singing along.
