There are lots of upcoming movie releases, plus the first-even Curious George Halloween special, new TV shows and apps, and more. One show new to DVD is Disney’s Gravity Falls. I’m curious if any of you have watched it and what your opinions are? Leave me a comment and let me know!

PEG + CAT on PBS KIDS

Don’t miss the premiere of the new PBS KIDS show PEG + CAT. It kicks off on Monday, October 7th, on your local PBS channel. And just in time for the first episode, you can download the PEG + CAT app, PEG + CAT Big Gig (for iOS and Android).  While singing along to songs and simple melodies from the TV series, kids can practice counting up and down by ones and twos, adding ones, and extending patterns.  Kids can even make their own music with the Sound Check game, where funky music can be recorded and played back. Entertainment Roundup: Disneynature's Bears - Earth Day, 2014

Disneynature’s Bears will be the fifth release from Disney’s newest film label.  It will open in theaters on April 18th, 2014 to celebrate Earth Day.  Make plans to see it during opening week as Disneynature, via the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund, will make a donation to the National Parks Foundation, the official charity of America’s national parks.  Check out the adorable bears in the clip below. Monsters University

Monsters University - Now Playing #MonstersU

In case you missed it, Monsters University opened last week and topped the box office.  MU took in $82 million during it’s opening weekend and it’s no doubt – it’s a scarily good movie!  If you haven’t seen it yet this weekend would be a good time to do so.  And if you have a Monsters University fan on your hands there are lots of fun MU toys and books available right now (those fraternity and sorority bean bag plushes are awfully cute). The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

For all The Hunger Games fans – the first official movie poster for the upcoming The Hunger Games: Catching Fire has been released.  They also have a new Instagram account you can follow.  Currently, there’s lots of great pictures up from the Cannes Film Festival.  Aside from loving the story, we cheer for The Hunger Games movies because Jennifer Lawrence is from here in Louisville and we like to support hometown girls!
