Are you looking for summer kids’ clothes?

Summer started early here this year; we were feeling the heat way back in May.  Which means we’ve been wearing our flip flops, sundresses, shorts and tank tops for months now.  As an adult, you can just keep tossing things in the laundry and wear them no matter how long summer lasts, but when you’re a toddler that is growing like a weed you’re going to run out of clothes before you run out of heat.

That was the situation we’ve recently run into; Bubbles summer clothes were starting to get a little small.  If we only had a couple of weeks left before cooler fall temps, she probably could make it with what she has.  But since it’s not quite August yet and we’re likely to still see 90s and maybe even triple digits through September, we needed to round out her summer wardrobe with a few extra pieces.

Disney’s Maleficent To Hit Theaters on March 14, 2014

I know it’s quite advanced notice, but any new Disney movie release notice is always exciting news for me!

The Walt Disney Studios has announced a U.S. release date of March 14, 2014, for Maleficent, starring Angelina Jolie in the title role as Disney’s ultimate villain.  The live-action film explores the origins of the evil fairy Maleficent and what led her to curse Princess Aurora in Disney’s animated classic Sleeping Beauty.  Leading a team of visionary filmmakers known for creating and transporting audiences to new and exciting worlds, Academy Award®-winning production designer Robert Stromberg (Avatar, Disney’s Alice in Wonderland and Oz The Great and Powerful) will direct with a script by Linda Woolverton (Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, and Alice in Wonderland).  Maleficent is produced by Joe Roth (Disney’s Alice in Wonderland and Oz The Great and Powerful).

I think Angelina Jolie is a really good choice to play Maleficent – she has that dark, brooding vibe and I can completely see her as a villain.  What do you think?  Was Angelina the best choice, or would you have chosen someone else?

Disneynature’s Chimpanzee In Theaters Today! New Clip, Plus Free Extras! #MeetOscar

Disneynature’s Chimpanzee opens in theaters today.  There’s a cute new clip of Oscar called “Savor the Flavor”.  It doesn’t sound too savory to me, but hey.  I’m sure it’s great if you’re a chimp!

Also, Disneynature has made available an awesome activity pack.  The pack includes 19 pages of connect the dots, trivia and fun facts (like the difference between chimps and apes), “find the animals” game, mazes, and much, MUCH more.  This will definitely keep the kiddos busy for awhile, and they’ll be learning while they have fun! DisneyNature’s Chimpanzee movie opens in theaters tomorrow and I’m so excited!  This movie looks to be one that my whole family will love.  That little Oscar is just too cute!  I mean, seriously, just look at this face.
