I received a review copy of Iron Man & Hulk Heroes United in order to facilitate my review.  All words and opinions are my own.

While I was in L.A. for the #ThorDarkWorldEvent and #DeliveryManEvent one of the places I had the extreme pleasure to visit was Walt Disney Studios.  While there we caught a sneak peek of Marvel’s new Iron Man & Hulk Heroes United.  We also had the chance to chat with Executive Producer Jeph Loeb.

He was extremely excited to introduce us to Marvel Animation Studios’ first feature-length, direct-to-video adventure.  It’s also marks the historic first occasion of having completely utilizing computer generated technology to create a super hero adventure.  The use of this CG animation results in a stunning and vibrant new addition to the animated Marvel University. I received a copy of The Little Mermaid 2 and Ariel’s Beginning 2-Movie Collection in order to facilitate my review. No additional compensation was received and all thoughts and words are my own.

The Little Mermaid has always been one of my favorite Disney movies.  The songs, the colors, the under the sea adventure, the romance – it’s the whole package.  I did always wonder, though, about the origins of the kingdom of Atlantica and what Ariel and all her siblings were like when they were little.

I also wondered about what happened with Ariel and Eric after they were married.  Was it truly a happily ever after story?  Did Ariel regret giving up her fins and family for a set of legs and love?

The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning and The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea 2-Movie Collection

To answer those questions, a few years ago Disney released both Ariel’s Beginning and The Little Mermaid 2.  I didn’t have the chance at the time to pick up either copy but now that both are available in one collection, I knew it was time to add them to my library.  Especially because Bubbles enjoys The Little Mermaid, also, and these would be something we could watch together. Thank you to Disney for inviting me to a screening so I could write my Delivery Man review.  All words and opinions are my own.

When I saw the first trailers and sneak peeks of Delivery Man, I have to say that I was intrigued.  Finding out that you had 533 kids would be kind of mind-blowing.  What would David Wozniak (Vince Vaughn) do with that news?

Delivery Man Review #DeliveryManEvent

It turns out his first reaction to the fertility clinic snafu is to shout “¡Yo no soy David Wozniak!”  Not going to lie, I would probably have shouted something similar – and maybe a lot more.  That’s quite the piece of information to have dropped in your lap! Continue reading »

I received a copy of Lala-Oopsies A Sew Magical Tale in order to facilitate my review.  No additional compensation was received and all words and opinions are my own.

There are some interesting new additions to the world of Lalaoopsy!  If your kiddos are fans of the original, then they’re likely to enjoy this new adventure, also.  And if you’ve never heard of the rag doll-esque characters, that’s okay!  You don’t need to have watched the original Lalaloopsies to enjoy Lala-Oopsies: A Sew Magical Tale.

Lala-Oopsies A Sew Magical Tale The Movie - Now on DVD

This new DVD introduces a new group of princess ballerinas, fairies and mermaids – the Lala-Oopsies, based on the line of toys with the same name.  Some of the new characters include: Continue reading »

I received a review copy of The Sweeter Side of Life and Meddling Mom in order to facilitate my review.  All thoughts and words are my own.

I share a lot of movies with you all, many of which are specifically for the kiddos or the whole family.  But sometimes moms need a little chick flick break, so today I thought I’d share a new double feature available from the Hallmark Channel.  The DVD includes Meddling Mom and The Sweeter Side of Life.

The Hallmark Channel Double Feature Meddling Mom & The Sweeter Side of Life

I had to start with The Sweeter Side of Life for two reasons.  One, it stars Kathryn Morris who played Detective Lilly Rush in Cold Case, which was one of my favorite shows in the mid-2000s.  And two, it’s about baking, which is one of my favorite things to do when I get a little free time.
