Thank you to Disney for inviting me to a screening so I could write my Delivery Man review.  All words and opinions are my own.

When I saw the first trailers and sneak peeks of Delivery Man, I have to say that I was intrigued.  Finding out that you had 533 kids would be kind of mind-blowing.  What would David Wozniak (Vince Vaughn) do with that news?

Thank you to Disney for covering my expenses so I could participate in the Vince Vaughn interview.  All thoughts are my own.

As part of our trip to L.A. we had the pleasure of sitting down with Vince Vaughn for a little chat.  I have to say – being invited to a Vince Vaughn interview made me quite popular with my brothers, who are huge Vince Vaughn fans from way back.  I believe they’ve seen pretty much every one of his movies; I know this as I was always right there beside them, watching along, too.

We were chatting with Vince about his role as David Wozniak in the film Delivery Man.  Our group had just watched it the night before when we attended the red carpet premiere at the El Capitan Theatre.  I was surprised that Vince knew we had been in attendance; one of the very first things he said walking through the door was “thanks for coming last night.”  He also commented on our attire, as we were wearing our Delivery Man t-shirts and Wozniak Meat Company jackets. Phew!  I just returned from my trip to L.A. and to say that I’ve had a whirlwind few days would be an understatement.  I have so much to share with you all over the next few days, but I wanted to start with one of what was to be many amazing #DeliveryManEvent experiences – the Delivery Man red carpet premiere.

It was really kind of a surreal experience.  The El Capitan Theatre where the premiere was held was right across the street from our hotel- the amazing Loews Hollywood Hotel – so when we stepped outside, we were immediately surrounded by lights and people.  Delivery Man was highlighted on the marquee, and the air was full of energy. Exciting Delivery Man Premiere and Interview News

When I first shared with you all that I would be heading to L.A. for some Disney/DreamWorks/Marvel fun, I didn’t really know how the trip could get any more amazing.  We were going to be catching a sneak peek of the upcoming DreamWorks movie Delivery Man, and then after we were going to be interviewing Vince Vaughn and Chris Pratt, two of the cast members.  I’m not really a star-struck type of person, but I’m pretty sure we’ve seen every Vince Vaughn movie ever made, so I was excited to know I was going to get to meet him face-to-face.

Delivery Man L.A. Premiere

A few days ago, though, we found that there would be a slight change to our itinerary.  The L.A. premiere of Delivery Man was being moved up and we were going to attend that, also!  Yep, now we’re walking two red carpets.  Fortunately I had picked up two dresses so I could choose my favorite.  Now I’ll get to wear both! What does family mean to you?

As an adopted child, I learned from the time that I could understand the concepts that a family is made up of the people that you love, and that love you back.  It’s not blood ties, it’s not living arrangements, it’s not where or when or how you were born.  It’s a connection.  This theme of family origins and the definition of exactly what is family is central to the upcoming Vince Vaughn movie Delivery Man.
