The older Bubbles gets, the more fun the holidays are.  Her excitement and anticipation are infectious and make me look forward to all the activities and festivities even more.  It was no surprise to me that with the sighting of Easter goodies in stores, that she has started to ask about when the Easter Bunny will be coming.

Putting together a basket for her is one of my favorite parts of the season.  Last year I made her a DIY tutu skirt basket and added a homemade playdough carrot.  She had such fun with that aspect of it that I decided I wanted to do something similar this year. Continue reading »

Have you ever reached for a drink just to wonder, “Is this mine?”  It’s easy to happen, especially in the hustle and bustle of a game day party.  They make those little charms for wine glasses so I thought I’d make my own version for bottles.

As soon as I knew they were coming, I started working on prepping the guest room.  Just because it was my family coming doesn’t mean I didn’t want to make their visit special for them.  So one of the items on my to-do list was to make a DIY guest welcome basket. Continue reading »
