When I was younger a meet & greet with Santa was always an exciting day.  Outside of that, though, there wasn’t much chance to have interaction with the Big Guy.  As I got a little older, letters from him started showing up in the mail during the month of December which definitely helped build the anticipation.

Create a personalized Santa Claus video with Portable North Pole

For kids today, though, there are even more magical options.  Recently I was introduced to Portable North Pole and their awe-inspiring personalized Santa videos.  So when they offered to provide me a pass to the site and partner on a post so I could share my experience with you, I was excited to see exactly how the process worked. This sponsored post on holiday traditions is brought to you by Sverve. All words and opinions are my own.

Having holiday traditions has always been really important to me.  One of the first traditions I can remember from when I was very young was how we celebrated Christmas Eve.  My Mom’s side of the family would gather at my Great Grandmother’s house; it was the one time of year they all made a point to get together.

Last year when we went to Maine to visit my family I also was excited to see my friend Em.  Em was one of my best friends in high school and even though we don’t get to talk every day, it’s still the kind of friendship where we text each other when our favorite movie is on TV.  And when we do have the chance to get together, it’s still an easy conversation.

Em has a sweet (and super-smart) daughter named Cam. Cam is 10 and when her mom came to visit at the house where I was staying, Cam came along.  It was actually great because Cam and Bubbles played together while we got caught up on each other’s lives.  (By the way, if you happen to be the aforementioned Em – stop reading here, please). This DIY coffee creamer bottle snowman post is sponsored by TapInfluence. All words and opinions are my own.

The other day I was pouring a little of the seasonal International Delight Sugar Cookie coffee creamer into my afternoon coffee, and I heard Bubbles singing in the other room.  As the words “Do you want to build a snowman?” drifted my way, I looked down at the coffee creamer bottle in my hand and realized – yes, yes I did.  I wanted to build a snowman.

DIY Marshmallow Dispenser: Coffee Creamer Bottle Snowman

The shape of a plastic coffee creamer bottle lends itself perfectly to being transformed into a snowman.  And because after you peel the label off they’re already kind of a milky-white color, there’s not a lot of work that needs to be done.  This is literally one of the easiest DIY projects you’ll ever try, but the results are down-right adorable. This DIY MistleToes gift post is brought to you by DataRank and Burt’s Bees. All words, projects, and opinions are my own.

I’m getting a little bit giddy.  Christmas, which is my absolute favorite time of year, is getting closer by the day.  In fact, there are only a little over 73 days until the big day arrives.

DIY Pamper Your MistleToes Gift and Free Printable Tag

I like to work on my shopping list throughout the year, especially if I’m doing any handmade gifts, like the DIY whisk gift I shared last year.  This year I have a number of people to whom I would like to gift the gift of pampering.  So I thought I would put together these cute DIY MistleToes gifts.
