This review and giveaway was made possible by Double Duty Divas and Mr. Clean. I was provided the featured product free along with a gift card to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% mine.

Not everyone loves cleaning.  I know, who would have guessed, right?  Even for myself, as much as I love organizing, there are some places I’d rather pass off the cleaning to someone else if at all possible.

Floors, for example.  I think it’s because it was one of my chores when I was a kid.  I also don’t really jump for joy when it’s time to clean the bathroom, either.

New Mr. Clean Liquid Muscle #CleanFreeWeekend

So when I recently heard about Mr. Clean Liquid Muscle, I knew I wanted to learn more.  It has 2.5 times more power in every drop, which means it a deeper clean, lifting away more dirt with less effort.  Now weekends mean less scrubbing time, which means more free time to play outside with Bubbles or make trips to the mall. While I absolutely love all the new Disney movies and characters, the Winnie the Pooh movies will always had a fond place in my heart.  There’s just something about that lovable bear, unlucky Eeyore, cute little Roo, and all the other friends in the Hundred Acre Wood.  I even still have the plush Easter Eeyore with the butterfly wings that my Gram bought me over a decade ago.

Disney Winnie the Pooh Springtime with Roo on Blu-Ray + Homemade Playdough Carrot

So when Disney recently offered to send us a copy of Winnie the Pooh Springtime with Roo – on Blu-ray for the very first time – I was excited to have the chance to share it with Bubbles.  She’s a big Eeyore fan and was happy to sit and watch it with me.  The Blu-ray packaging also comes with a free Springtime with Roo mobile that you can put together, and she was excited to work on that with me. I received Hershey’s products to fill my DIY Tutu Easter Basket as well as a stipend from Global Influence. All thoughts and words are my own.

Awhile back my Aunt made Bubbles one of those cute tutu skirts.  They’re quite adorable, and Bubbles loved it.  She liked to put it on and dance and pretend to be things like fairies and butterflies.

She’s grown out of it now, so I need to make her one.  In the process of gathering the materials to do so, I thought – hey, it’s almost Easter.  Wouldn’t a tutu Easter basket be really cute?  So I decided to pick up a basket along with a few lengths of tulle and make one along with the skirt. These time management tips are sponsored by Domino Sugar and the Mom It Forward network. All thoughts and words are my own.

Waking up is much easier for me now than it was when I was growing up or in college.  I’ve always been a night owl, preferring to sleep in versus going to bed early.  This lead to some hectic mornings when I would try to rush around and get ready for school, class, work, or anything else.

Time Management Tips for a Frenzy Free Morning #FlipTopFrenzyFree

While I do better now, I can only imagine that things will err on the hectic side once again once Bubbles is old enough to start school.  In order to help things along then, I’m doing what I can now to incorporate some time management tips.  I figure if we practice our skills and get on a schedule, it will be an easier transition. I can’t believe I’m typing this, but Bubbles turns 3-years-old this month.  Seriously, I know the cliches about growing up so fast and how time flies – but it’s just so true.  She’s more preschooler than toddler, and lets us know what a “big girl” she is on a regular basis.

Her birthday party will be this weekend, and when offered multiple choices on party themes she, unsurprisingly, chose Disney Planes.  So this week I’ve been working on a few favors and supplies.  I still need to finish up the party favors and treat bags, plus finalize my cake design.  But I think I have all the table decorations and paper goods so not too much left to do.

Which is good, because Bubbles is super-excited about her party.  She asks every morning if it’s her birthday yet, rattles off the guest list, and asks about her Disney Planes cake.  She also has invited pretty much everyone at any store we’ve been to in the past two weeks. Continue reading »
