This shop and my ideas for kids bathroom decor has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #CraftedExperience #CollectiveBias

Bubbles is already getting to where she has an opinion about how things look and are designed. She tells me frequently what she considers “to be fashion” whether it’s with her clothes (or my clothes) or the decor of her room.

DIY Dinosaur Topped Jars make really cute kids bathroom decor. Fill them up with adhesive bandages, hair accessories, jewelry, cotton swabs - whatever your kids (or you!) use regularly

A couple of weeks ago she told me she wanted to have her bathroom be “more fashion”. As it’s mostly been used as a guest bathroom she was right in that it wasn’t really designed with kid appeal. After some discussion she decided she’d like to see more purple. Continue reading »

This shop and my ideas for a backyard safari have been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions and tiger sightings are mine alone. #FuelTheirAdventures #CollectiveBias

This Saturday is the national Free Seat Check Saturday. are going to be events all over the country, but if you’re in the Louisville area, I have the event you’re going to want to attend!

Before I get into all the details, did you know that according to Safe Kids, 73% of car seats are installed incorrectly?  That’s a crazy-high number, but it’s one I can understand.  There’s a lot to read up on and understand: LATCH or no LATCH, what’s considered “armpit level” for the chest clip, rear- or forward-facing?

Free Car Seat Safety Check at the Seat Check Saturday Event in Jeffersontown, KY this Saturday, 9/19/15

Do yourself (and your kiddo) a favor and stop into one of these free seat check Saturday events.  If Grammie & Grampie or your caregiver have a car seat installed in their car, invite them to come along, too. Continue reading »
