When I was a little girl, I was beyond excited when friends of our family – Rod and Wendy – asked me to go on a weekend vacation with them.  Much to my surprise, part of the weekend festivities was attending a Disney On Ice show.  I still can remember sitting in my seat with my program on my lap, anxiously waiting the start of the program.

Disney On Ice Princesses and Heroes

I have been wanting to take Bubbles to see one of these shows for awhile now.  With as much as she loves Disney, I have no doubt that she’ll love Disney On Ice.  My theory is supported by the fact that every time the commercials are on TV she jumps up and down and asks if we can go. This Macy’s flower show event post is sponsored by Everywhere.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Last weekend Bubbles and I had the opportunity to spend some time at our local Macy’s at the Oxmoor Center Mall.  We often visit the mall on the weekends, but this Saturday we were there for something special.  Macy’s was celebrating the arrival of spring and spring fashion with their Flower Show Event with a Secret Garden theme.

Gorgeous Flower Displays at the Macy's Flower Show Event - Oxmoor Center

Bubbles loves pretty clothes as much, if not more, than any girl, so I knew she’d love seeing the fancy hats and beautiful looks for spring.  But aside from that, I also had heard that Macy’s was planning lots of fun little events for kiddos and adults alike. Continue reading »

I received Brilliant Sky Toys & Books products in order to facilitate my review.  No additional compensation was received and all words and opinions are my own.

Growing up we had basically two options when it came to shopping for toys: toy stores and catalogs.  I remember pouring through those catalogs every time they came in the mail, especially before the holidays.  And when we actually had the opportunity to visit a true toy store full of just toys and games, we never wanted to leave.

Now people do most of their shopping online.  I’m certainly one of them; it’s very convenient and sometimes it’s easier than braving traffic and weather to visit a store.  But as much as I love online shopping, it’s still a treat for me when I get to visit a cool brick and mortar store, especially when it’s full of toys.

Thanks to US Family Guide for providing Thomas the Train Tour tickets for our family.

Bubbles enjoys watching Thomas the Train and so I was excited to find out that the Go Go Thomas Tour 2013 would be making a stop at the Kentucky Railroad Museum.  It’s not too far from us and it would be our first time riding a train, too.  So we’re planning a day out with Thomas!

Showing the Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40!

Last week I had the chance to help co-host a couple of Graco events at our local Babies R Us.  Dianna (a local Louisville blogger who blogs over at The Kennedy Adventures) and I were able to share information about the new Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40 with both some local bloggers as well as some pregnant mamas-to-be.  It was such a fun time full of demos, games, snacks, and of course lots of information!  If you follow me on Instagram, you may have already caught some of the photos I shared.
