I received Idea Village products in order to facilitate my post.  All words and opinions are my own.

Growing up I always loved those “As Seen On TV” items.  They always seemed so interesting, and often so necessary to my daily life.  Granted I was about 10 at the time, but still.

I didn’t really have my own credit cards back then, either, so I didn’t get to order too many of those “must have” products.  But when you become an adult and you’re earning your own money, you get to make choices you might not have been able to as a kid.  And one of those choices was to pick up some of those “As Seen On TV” items that had been so tantalizing in my youth.

Idea Village Flashlight Friends - Penguin

It may be genetic, as Bubbles recently caught a commercial for Flashlight Friends and decided that she really wanted one.  I thought they were kind of cute, too, and hoped that it would help her sleep better if she knew she had a light she could turn on at will.  That ended up being wishful thinking, but they’re still really cute. I received an item from Museum Tour in order to facilitate my review. No additional compensation was received; all thoughts and words are my own.

I’ve always loved getting catalogs in the mail, especially toy ones.  Christmas was an especially good time of year for it, as there was always the Wish Book and other thick catalogs that would arrive.  But no matter what time of year it was, I was always on the lookout when my Mom would bring the mail home.

One catalog that I wasn’t familiar with – but that you very well may be – is the one sent out by Museum Tour.  Their fall catalog reached 2 million homes.  It’s packed full of toys and fun learning activities for children to participate in beyond museum or science center walls.

Thanks to I See Me for providing us with a great personalized book to enjoy.

I’ve seen, read, received and given a lot of personalized books in my day.  I’ve always enjoyed them because there’s just something special about getting a book with your own name and/or photo in it, immersing you in the story.  I had wanted to order one for Bubbles for her birthday this year because she’s very much into books and loves to recognize her own name and picture.  Most personalized books, however, are geared for older children through adults, with easily-torn paper pages and more grown-up themes.

I See Me Personalized Books for Toddlers & Kids

So I was very pleased to come across the I See Me collection of personalized books and other gifts.  They have books for pretty much every occasion: birthdays, Easter, Christmas, being a big sister, being a big brother.  And then they have lots of personalized books that are “just because” like My Own Fairy Tale, My Own Pirate Tale, and other similar titles.
