My husband and I usually sit down on Sunday afternoon and do a rough meal plan for the week.  It makes it easier for me because it cuts down on multiple trips to the grocery store.  It also keeps us from saying “so… what do you want for dinner?” 15 minutes before dinnertime.

We love Chinese food.  Back when we lived in Florida, we’d hit the farmer’s market two miles away on Saturday afternoons, and then stop at our favorite Chinese place just down the street after for takeout.

Growing up my Mom always made some really yummy meatballs.  They were served up at most family potlucks or gatherings and often disappeared faster than anything else.  I know they were certainly one of my favorite things offered.

When you’re trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle one of the biggest roadblocks can be life itself.  It often feels like there just aren’t enough hours in the day to get all the necessities done, let alone anything extra.  Things like the gym or getting a full night’s sleep sort of fall by the wayside.

One of the easiest ways that I’ve found to stay on track is to stock my freezer with frozen meals.  Breakfast and lunch are both frequently a “lite” or healthy entree that I can pop in the microwave.  They’re huge time-savers and you can’t beat the portion and calorie control that a prepackaged meal provides.
