Great for the holiday season, the DVD includes 10 episodes from the Disney Junior television series. “Babee’s First Christmas” is an especially great episode to watch if you happen to have an older sibling processing a younger sibling’s first Christmas. I received a preview copy of Teen Beach Movie in order to facilitate my review. All opinions and words are my own.

What happens when you take a themed musical and breath Disney magic on it? You get Teen Beach Movie, a fun new musical that the entire family can enjoy together. It goes without saying how much I love Disney movies and this one did not disappoint.

Disney’s Teen Beach Movie is kind of like Grease meets West Side Story and they all decide to hang out on the beach. For someone that loves the old musicals (I seriously couldn’t begin to count the number of times I have watched Grease), it was a great premise. Unlike some of the musicals of the 70s and 80s, though, this is much more family-friendly all the way through, making it a good way to introduce your kiddos to the genre.

If you’re a Disney fan, you might want to have a tissue or two handy while you watch this new trailer for Saving Mr. Banks. I found myself tearing up a bit towards the end, which tells me what already was a hunch: this movie is going to be amazing. Saving Mr. Banks is inspired by the true, previously untold story of the extraordinary lengths to which Walt Disney (played by Tom Hanks) went in order to bring P. L. Travers’ (played by Emma Thompson) story of Mary Poppins to the big screen. Continue reading »

I’m excited for this movie as it’s done by the studio that produced both Tangled and Wreck-It Ralph, two of my favorite more recent Disney films. Fearless optimist Anna sets off on an epic journey—teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff and his loyal reindeer Sven—to find her sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter.

Thank you to Disney Junior for providing us with a copy of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Quest for the Crystal Mickey. All opinions are 100% that of myself and Bubbles.

Bubbles as you probably know by now is, shall we say, a little mad for the mouse. She could say Mickey and Minnie before she could say Austin and Ashley. When we see commercials for visiting Walt Disney World on TV she stops, points, and says “It’s Mickey’s house!” So when we recently had the opportunity the preview a copy of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Quest for the Crystal Mickey we were pretty excited, to say the least.
