Spring is officially in the air, and I’m getting very excited.  It’s time to start thinking about wearing dresses, skirts, flip-flops, and short-sleeved shirts, to name a few.  All in some of the shades that make spring so light and airy – like pink, which is definitely in this year.

Bubbles and I were in Kohl’s today checking out some of the new looks for the season.  I had watched the Kohl’s Spring Fashion Hangout and I absolutely fell in love with some of the pieces they showcased.  One of the things I love about Kohl’s is how they transition runway looks into something wearable, and at prices that are significantly more affordable.

You know that there has been some serious basketball-watching going on here over the past few days.  We’ve been chewing our nails (well, at least I have) as we’ve watched our team progress through the last two rounds and are on pins and needles for their game tomorrow night.  Staying glued to the TV anytime the ball is bouncing is pretty much the preferred route to go.

While I generally cheer for the good guy, I have to say I love a good villain (which may explain why I consider myself one of Loki’s Ladies).  And now Maleficent, Princess Aurora’s nemesis in Disney’s Sleeping Beauty, is getting her own movie, and I’m thoroughly intrigued.

Updates for Maleficent have come slowly, but each time one is shared, it’s absolutely amazing.  Like the recent release of the new movie poster which shows off the classic Disney villain Maleficent (played by Angelina Jolie) and her awe-inspiring wings. Last weekend Bubbles and I had the opportunity to spend some time at our local Macy’s at the Oxmoor Center Mall.  We often visit the mall on the weekends, but this Saturday we were there for something special.  Macy’s was celebrating the arrival of spring and spring fashion with their Flower Show Event with a Secret Garden theme.
