It’s no secret that we’re big NCAA football fans.  You’ll find a number of posts here about our love for the game and some great tailgating recipes.

I think most sports fans have certain pregame rituals that they follow.  Specific clothes they wear, a meal they eat, a place they go to watch the game.  Even my husband’s Aunt and her husband get into the act, attending all local college football games and even traveling to many of the season’s away games. I received a copy of the Idina Menzel holiday album “Holiday Wishes” as a member of One2One Network in order to facilitate my review. All words and opinions are my own.

I’ve been listening to Christmas music for awhile now.  I have a pretty solid collection and each year it seems to grow.  This year I’ve already added one new album to my playlist and it’s one I think you’ll love.

New Idina Menzel holiday album "Holiday Wishes"

Now, you’ve probably heard the name Idina Menzel at this point.  She was the voice of Elsa in this little Disney movie Frozen?  And by “little” I mean a “global box-office smash”.  Did you know, though, that she was already a Tony award-winning actress and singer before that? Continue reading »

DIY Guest Welcome Basket for Entertaining House Guests #HolidayMadeSimple

As soon as I knew they were coming, I started working on prepping the guest room.  Just because it was my family coming doesn’t mean I didn’t want to make their visit special for them.  So one of the items on my to-do list was to make a DIY guest welcome basket. Continue reading »

This sponsored post on holiday traditions is brought to you by Sverve. All words and opinions are my own.

Having holiday traditions has always been really important to me.  One of the first traditions I can remember from when I was very young was how we celebrated Christmas Eve.  My Mom’s side of the family would gather at my Great Grandmother’s house; it was the one time of year they all made a point to get together.

4 Holiday Traditions to start with your family this year #ChosenByKids

Now that Bubbles is getting older and is able to anticipate and appreciate much of the season, we’re working on building her traditions.  Here are some that we’re participating in this year that you might like to start with your own kiddos. Continue reading »
