I received the Despicable Me 2 DVD/Blu-ray Combo Pack in order to facilitate my review.  All thoughts and words are my own.

I vividly remember going to the first Despicable Me movie with my husband and Austin.  I remember it because one of my favorite lines from any movie has since become “It’s so fluffy!” shouted by Agnes as she’s handed a stuffed unicorn.  I’m not entirely sure why it struck us all as so funny, but it’s been kind of an inside joke since then.

Despicable Me 2 DVD and Blu-ray Combo Pack

When Despicable Me 2 came to theaters this past summer, we decided that it would be Bubbles’ first theater movie.  She loves the little yellow minion buddies and we didn’t really anticipate any scary parts.  She did pretty well, but eventually got fidgety enough that we decided to leave before it was over (no one wants to be those people). I received the Sky Viper QuadCopter and other products in order to facilitate my post.  All thoughts and words are my own.

Remote control…. The technology was still a bit limited back then, though, as most of our R/C products were tethered by cords running from the controller to the car.  Even once they graduated to cordless controls they were still a bit clunky – but of course still very fun!

Innovation never stops, though, and today’s R/C toys are pretty amazing.  Some of them, like the remote-controlled Sky Viper QuadCopter, are even a little mind-blowing.  Four-blade copters are one of the hottest trends in the remote control market right now and they’re finally available to the mass market.

Skyrocket Toys R/C Sky Viper QuadCopter

The Sky Viper QuadCopter is the biggest and most technologically-advanced option out there.  It has hobby-grade precision and computer-controlled 6-axis gyro and acceleromete stabilization make this an impressive toy.  The Sky Viper QuadCopter measures 16″ diagonally blade-to-blade and is constructed for both indoor and outdoor use.  So if the weather outside is frightful, kids don’t have to give up the fun. I received Idea Village products in order to facilitate my post.  All words and opinions are my own.

Growing up I always loved those “As Seen On TV” items.  They always seemed so interesting, and often so necessary to my daily life.  Granted I was about 10 at the time, but still.

I didn’t really have my own credit cards back then, either, so I didn’t get to order too many of those “must have” products.  But when you become an adult and you’re earning your own money, you get to make choices you might not have been able to as a kid.  And one of those choices was to pick up some of those “As Seen On TV” items that had been so tantalizing in my youth.

Idea Village Flashlight Friends - Penguin

It may be genetic, as Bubbles recently caught a commercial for Flashlight Friends and decided that she really wanted one.  I thought they were kind of cute, too, and hoped that it would help her sleep better if she knew she had a light she could turn on at will.  That ended up being wishful thinking, but they’re still really cute. My family was invited to a screening in order for me to write my Disney Frozen review.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

From the moment I saw the first previews, I knew that Disney’s Frozen was going to be a big hit.  And after having had the opportunity to see it with my family a couple of weeks ago, I’m calling that it will soon become a classic.  The animation, the songs, the story – it all adds up to amazing.

This was the second movie we had taken Bubbles to see at the theater but this was the first one she was able to stay and watch until the end.  Even after sitting in the theater for about thirty minutes prior to the movie starting, she happily sat in her seat for the whole thing, turning away from the screen only occasionally to share a laugh with me.  I don’t know how I had forgotten that it was going to be in 3D, but she opted not to wear her glasses and still enjoyed it.

Disney Frozen Review

At it’s center, Disney’s Frozen is about the relationship between sisters.  Princesses and sisters Anna and Elsa have always been so close, playing and having fun in their family’s castle.  Elsa has a special gift, the ability to create things from snow and ice.  Often the sisters would sneak downstairs while their parents slept and skate, slid, and play with the snowman named Olaf that Elsa brought to life for them. I received a review copy of Iron Man & Hulk Heroes United in order to facilitate my review.  All words and opinions are my own.

While I was in L.A. for the #ThorDarkWorldEvent and #DeliveryManEvent one of the places I had the extreme pleasure to visit was Walt Disney Studios.  While there we caught a sneak peek of Marvel’s new Iron Man & Hulk Heroes United.  We also had the chance to chat with Executive Producer Jeph Loeb.

Walt Disney Studios #ThorDarkWorldEvent #DeliveryManEvent

He was extremely excited to introduce us to Marvel Animation Studios’ first feature-length, direct-to-video adventure.  It’s also marks the historic first occasion of having completely utilizing computer generated technology to create a super hero adventure.  The use of this CG animation results in a stunning and vibrant new addition to the animated Marvel University.
