Spring is officially in the air, and I’m getting very excited.  It’s time to start thinking about wearing dresses, skirts, flip-flops, and short-sleeved shirts, to name a few.  All in some of the shades that make spring so light and airy – like pink, which is definitely in this year.

Bubbles and I were in Kohl’s today checking out some of the new looks for the season.  I had watched the Kohl’s Spring Fashion Hangout and I absolutely fell in love with some of the pieces they showcased.  One of the things I love about Kohl’s is how they transition runway looks into something wearable, and at prices that are significantly more affordable.

One of my favorite is the fun and flirty pink dress with white flowers above.  I can see wearing it so many places!  Especially since we have Ashley’s graduation, then Austin’s graduation, and parties for both.  I think I’m going to need to pick up a few different ones! Continue reading »

Last weekend Bubbles and I had the opportunity to spend some time at our local Macy’s at the Oxmoor Center Mall.  We often visit the mall on the weekends, but this Saturday we were there for something special.  Macy’s was celebrating the arrival of spring and spring fashion with their Flower Show Event with a Secret Garden theme.

It’s that time of year again!  The Spring Fashionista Event is here.  And that means a chance to check out what’s new in spring styles, peruse the latest jewelry selections, and revel in all things fashion.

This year I’ve been trying to find ways to update my style in unexpected ways.  The first way?  Ditching the useful-but-not-so-stylish diaper bag I’ve been carrying around since Bubbles was born.
