It’s that time of year again! The Spring Fashionista Event is here. And that means a chance to check out what’s new in spring styles, peruse the latest jewelry selections, and revel in all things fashion.
This year I’ve been trying to find ways to update my style in unexpected ways. The first way? Ditching the useful-but-not-so-stylish diaper bag I’ve been carrying around since Bubbles was born.
Now that Bubbles is a preschooler our “diaper bag” needs have changed, and I wanted something big enough to tote around the things we needed, yet more purse-like in appearance. Ju-Ju-Be bags had just what I was looking for. I have a review and tips on how to pack a toddler diaper back coming for you in the next day or so.
I’m also updating my jewelry. I recently went through and cleaned out everything that was broken, I no longer loved, was missing the other half to, etc. Now I have room to add in few new pieces for spring.

Capris and leggings for me in the spring.
My favorite look for spring is casual. I like capris (not denim) with a longer top, usually a textured knit. I am all about mix and match to stretch my wardrobe. I like White, Yellow, , Coral, Orange ,Red and Green in various shades and patterns.
Maxi skirt, solid color tank top, jean jacket, infinity scarf.
I am looking forward to capris, tees and sandals.

Capris are always my favourite for Spring. Anything that does’t involve a horrible winter coat gets my attention. =) As for specific colours, I don’t really care.
I love pastels and floral prints – and I have a whole wardrobe in a small closet and dresser patiently awaiting the weather appropo to be shown off! I love to play with these wonderful pastels and accessorize with colorful jewelry, scarves, handbags!
All winter long I wear black and ivory and an array of “earth tones” – which I love – but this winter just seems so long, endless – I just can’t wait to jump into something, bright and colorful and maybe – very floral!
