Thank you to Disney for covering all my expenses to attend the Delivery Man red carpet premiere. All words and opinions are my own.

Phew!  I just returned from my trip to L.A. and to say that I’ve had a whirlwind few days would be an understatement.  I have so much to share with you all over the next few days, but I wanted to start with one of what was to be many amazing #DeliveryManEvent experiences – the Delivery Man red carpet premiere.

Delivery Man Red Carpet Premiere at the El Capitan Theatre #DeliveryManEvent

It was really kind of a surreal experience.  The El Capitan Theatre where the premiere was held was right across the street from our hotel- the amazing Loews Hollywood Hotel – so when we stepped outside, we were immediately surrounded by lights and people.  Delivery Man was highlighted on the marquee, and the air was full of energy.

We were provided us with our “credentials” – a Delivery Man lanyard and our seat ticket and then escorted through the first security checkpoint.

Then we stepped out onto the actual red carpet.  Vince Vaughn, Cobie Smulders, Chris Pratt and others were all nearby talking with reporters and fans, and smiling for the photographers.  We smiled for each other and had fun taking lots of pictures.

After walking the carpet we settled into our iconic El Capitan Theatre seats and watched the movie.  Delivery Man is all kinds of amazing and I’ll have a full review for you soon.  Just know that it is truly a must-see film.  It opens in theaters on November 22nd!

After the movie was over we were fortunate enough to attend the Delivery Man afterparty at the Hard Rock Cafe.  Most of the cast was there, including some of David Wozniak’s 533 kids.  Everyone was amazingly nice, taking time to talk to us and taking some photos here and there, also.

Strappy heels aren’t often in rotation for the mama of a toddler, so by the end of the night my feet were starting to feel it a bit.  A small price to pay for such a fantastic evening!  Be such to check out the #DeliveryManEvent hashtag on Twitter and see the event through the eyes of my fellow bloggers.
