Thank you to Disney for covering my expenses while on our press trip to visit Treasures of Asgard.  All words and opinions are my own.

My first trip to Walt Disney World was when I was 6 years old, and I’ve been fortunate to visit a number of times since then; it’s probably my favorite vacation spot on Earth.  But as much as I love all things Disney, I never thought that a visit to Disneyland would ever be possible.  So when I found out that during our press trip to California the Thor: Treasures of Asgard exhibit in Disneyland was on the list, I was more than a little excited.

I received copies of these two Disney holiday classics in order to facilitate my review.  All thoughts and words are my own.

Christmas and Disney are two of my very favorite things.  And any time the two are married together, I’m even happier.  So when I saw that two of my favorite Disney Christmas movies were now available on Blu-ray Combo Packs, I knew I needed to add them to our holiday classics collection.

Winnie the Pooh A Very Merry Pooh Year

Watching Holiday Classics with Disney Buddies

When our DVDs arrived I gave Bubbles the choice of which one she would like to watch first.  She chose Winnie the Pooh: A Very Merry Pooh Year which I have seen but she had not.  We, of course, had to snuggle with her Christmas-themed Pooh and Eeyore while we watched. Continue reading »

I am participating in a blog post campaign for One2One Network and Walt Disney Records.  All thoughts and words are my own.

One of my favorite parts of walking through the Disney parks or watching a Disney movie is the amazing music that accompanies them.  Many consider Disney Music a genre of it’s own and is probably the most recognized and beloved song catalog in the world.  I know that any time I hear the songs, I can’t help but sing – and in some cases dance – along.

The first time I visited Walt Disney World was when I was 6 years old.  Music was playing everywhere we went.  From the Electrical Light Parade choreography and daytime parades, the queues for the shows and rides, even to the waiting areas transportation – everything was perfectly created to invoke a specific feeling.

This post on Disney trip deals is brought to you by USFG and Pixie Vacations.  I received promotional items as a thank you for participating.  All opinions are my own.

Bubbles has recently increased her pleas for a Disney vacation.  At least once a day she’ll start chanting “I do, I do, I DO want to go to Disney!”, or she’ll lay her head on your arm and say “Can we please go to Disney?”  It doesn’t help that we have a couple of flyers and DVDs on Disney trip deals and planning that have come in the mail that she studies out.

Disney Trip Deals from Pixie Vacations

So while we haven’t 100% committed to going, we are starting to evaluate our Disney options.  For all the times I’ve been, I’ve actually never seen the castle lit up for Christmas, and I’m a little partial to perhaps going between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year.  If we decided to go right before Christmas, we’d be able to take advantage of this offer from Pixie Vacations: Continue reading »

Thank you to Disney for providing us with a copy of Phineas and Ferb Mission Marvel in order to facilitate my review.  All words and opinions are 100% my own.

When you take two separate things and combine them together, it can either be really good or really bad.  Oil and water, they don’t mix so well.  A twist cone of soft serve vanilla and chocolate, those combine pretty well.  And when you take Phineas and Ferb and add in the Marvel Universe, well, that’s just good times.

And that’s exactly what has happened in the new DVD Phineas and Ferb Mission Marvel.  Some of the Marvel super heroes suddenly find themselves without their powers, and after calculating the source of the beam that hit them, they find the source to be Danville.  Apparently Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s latest scheme has had an unintended consequence and Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor, and Hulk find themselves teaming up with Phineas and Ferb to try and get their powers back.
