A few months ago my Gram passed away.  I haven’t really mentioned it much – if at all – but those who are regular readers probably noticed that there were a few long stretches of little to no posting.

Christmas was always a huge holiday at my grandparents’ house, and I can vividly remember just how she had it decorated every year.  After she passed, a few of those pieces came to me.  I don’t have quite the same setup she did and so I’ve been trying to figure out where to display them.

DIY Halloween Candy Dish - Made from a terracotta pot! Easy craft for under $5 #SmokehouseBBQ

As I started to lay things out – the table runner, silly spider, ghost in a jar, pumpkins, you name it – I realized I was a little short on candy dishes.  Then I remembered the candy dish that I had made when I was younger as a gift for my Gram.  It was an easy project using terracotta pots, which I knew I had in my craft closet.
