Make a Monster Munch Recipe for Halloween

Thank you to JOLLY TIME for providing products to help me create a monster munch recipe.

I love making munch mix recipes for a couple of reasons. One, they’re just so darn tasty. Whomever the first person it was that came up with tossing this combination of ingredients together is a smart cookie.

But I also like making them because they’re quick and easy. I know you all probably get some last minute “Oh, hey Mom, by the way…” requests for snacks for school or a bake sale or something similar. I used to spring that on my own Mom once in awhile. So a go-to snack recipe that can be changed up based on the season, holiday, or even just what mix-ins you have on hand can be a big help.

Alpha and Omega 2: A Howl-iday Adventure continues the adventures of Kate and Humphrey, who now have three pups of their own: Stinky, Claudette, and Runt. Snow is just about to fall and Christmas is coming, and all the wolves are getting ready to celebrate winter together.

Unfortunately, some rogue wolves, intent on taking down Kate and Humphrey’s pack, wander into the area. They cause a distraction and make off with Runt, the smallest of the cubs. Bubbles has recently increased her pleas for a Disney vacation. At least once a day she’ll start chanting “I do, I do, I DO want to go to Disney!”, or she’ll lay her head on your arm and say “Can we please go to Disney?” It doesn’t help that we have a couple of flyers and DVDs on Disney trip deals and planning that have come in the mail that she studies out.

Worlds Collide in the Phineas and Ferb Mission Marvel DVD

Thank you to Disney for providing us with a copy of Phineas and Ferb Mission Marvel in order to facilitate my review. All words and opinions are 100% my own.

When you take two separate things and combine them together, it can either be really good or really bad. Oil and water, they don’t mix so well. A twist cone of soft serve vanilla and chocolate, those combine pretty well. And when you take Phineas and Ferb and add in the Marvel Universe, well, that’s just good times.

And that’s exactly what has happened in the new DVD Phineas and Ferb Mission Marvel. Some of the Marvel super heroes suddenly find themselves without their powers, and after calculating the source of the beam that hit them, they find the source to be Danville. Apparently Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s latest scheme has had an unintended consequence and Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor, and Hulk find themselves teaming up with Phineas and Ferb to try and get their powers back. Halloween is almost here, and that means it’s time to start getting ready for Halloween celebrations! I love hosting, whether it’s for a crowd or just a fun night in with our immediate family members. Putting together a spooky (or a fun-spooky, with a toddler) table filled with candy, delicious sweets, and refreshing drinks is something I look forward to doing each year.
