If you’ve followed my blog for any length of time, then you may have noticed that for me, shopping and getting a good deal go hand in hand.  Scouting out sales, getting a great online promo code, or finding a printable coupon to match with an in-store sale – I love all that stuff.

Find the best coupons, promo codes, and deals everyday at Dealspotr

I have partnered with Dealspotr to bring you this post.

Know what else I like?  Rewards for things I’m already doing.  Loyalty programs with my favorite merchants, credit cards that give you cash back, a free coffee after you’ve purchased ten.  Any of those little gestures from companies get a thumb’s up in my book. Continue reading »

I am a member of the Collective Bias® Social Fabric® Community. This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for Collective Bias.

I have been shopping with Amazon for many years now.  The merchandise selection is vast, the prices are good, and by being a Prime member, the shipping is fast and easy.  But now Amazon has made it even easier to shop.

3 Easy Steps to Using #AmazonCart #cbias

I’m sure you’re curious how it’s even possible to be easier to shop on Amazon.  Search for the item, click, and check out.  But through a recent partnership with Twitter, Amazon has managed to save you two of those steps. Continue reading »

This post on gift giving is sponsored by Those Media Girls and pick UR gift.  All words and opinions are my own.

For me, gift giving is a lot of fun.  I really enjoy going down my list, considering the likes and hobbies of each recipient, and then finding an item that’s really going to make them smile.  It doesn’t even have to be the “perfect” gift – just something I know they’ll love or enjoy.

When I shop, I have a tendency to do so in order of ease of gift selection.  So by the time I get to the bottom of the list the gift giving process becomes a little less fun and a little more stressful.  Fortunately I’ve just discovered a gift giving site that might just add the joy back.

This is a sponsored post on the Personal Shopper program.  I am a Sears blogger, though all opinions are my own.

This is the time of year when people start to step up their shopping game.  There are new looks for fall, a winter wardrobe that needs to be thought about (especially if you live someplace that gets snow), great new product releases in the home entertainment world, and multiple holidays that all inspire changes to home decor.  It’s exciting, but can also be a little overwhelming.

If you’re not someone that really enjoys shopping, or if comparing prices and styles across multiple websites leaves you frazzled, then you may want to consider the Sears and Kmart Personal Shopping program.  Using a personal shopping expert is a free service for Shop Your Way rewards members (which is also free) and it gives you access to folks who will do the research and comparing for you.  These shoppers know the Sears and Kmart brands and provide you with great advice on quality shopping purchases.

Sears and Kmart Personal Shopper Program

Now, if you’re someone who does love to shop (like me!), instead of using the Personal Shopper service you might consider signing up to be a Personal Shopper.  You’ll be able to share your expertise with friends and family and when they make qualifying purchases from Kmart, Sears or Land’s End, you’ll earn commission!  If you’re someone that people turn to for recommendations, anyway, why not get paid for it?  Everyone could use a little extra money before the holidays and this is one way to earn it while doing something you enjoy.

If that sounds like you, sign up to become a Personal Shopper and get started helping people find products they’ll love.

Would you prefer to use a Personal Shopper or become one?

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Kohl’s. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

If you follow me on Twitter, Instagram or Foursquare you may have saw posts or check-ins that reference Kohl’s.  That’s because I have been in love with Kohl’s basically since the first time I set foot inside one of their stores.  They have great brands (like Carters, Vera Wang, Food Network, and more), a wide selection of items, and amazing deals and sales.

A couple of years ago one of my biggest shopping dreams became a reality: Kohl’s built a brand new store just about 5 minutes away.  It’s a LEED-certified store which is something of which they are very proud.  Kohl’s is very devoted to being a good community partner and this is just one way in which they do it.  Another way is through their Kohl’s Cares program, which we love.  They regularly rotate in a new themed line of merchandise for $5 per item.  We’ve bought a lot of kids books, stuffed animals, and cookbooks that were part of the program.
