This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Rubbermaid Bento Organizers but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #HolidayBento http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO.

Are you done your holiday shopping yet?  Not me!  I feel so behind this year, because normally right about now I’m just crossing a stocking stuffer or two off my list to finish up, but this year I’m not even 50% done.

I found myself shopping at Target the other day, trying to knock a few things off of Ashley’s wish list.  She’s already secured a teaching job, so after graduation in the spring, she’ll be moving a few hours away where she’ll have her very first apartment.  Target gift cards were on her list as she knows they carry lots of great items for home decoration and storage plus items to stock her kitchen.

While wandering around the home department I came across the Rubbermaid Bento Organizers.  I was immediately drawn to their design; we have a chair with a similar pattern.  After taking a few minutes to examine them more closely, I was also impressed with the actual construction.  The interior pockets flex to accommodate the items, letting you create just the right size and shape compartments for what you’re storing. This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Havertys. The opinions and text are all mine.

Many of us will be hosting on at least one occasion during the holidays.  It’s a fun time of year; we get to spend time with friends and family that we may not otherwise see.  It’s also a very busy time filled with cooking, cleaning, planning, shopping, and more.

I received samples to facilitate this post on guest bathroom ideas.  No additional compensation was received and all thoughts and words are my own.

House guests are definitely more common during the holidays.  Whether it’s Thanksgiving or Christmas or the time in between, family and friends will be coming from far and wide to spend time together.  It’s always nice to make guests as comfortable as possible, but you definitely don’t want to break the bank.

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Starburst.  I received product samples to create DIY Halloween projects and to facilitate my review, and promotional item as a thank you for participating.

I love decorating for the holidays.  Before I had a toddler, I often completed complex projects that required a lot of time and supplies.  Now that I have a little one, finding time for DIY projects can be a challenge.  So I tend to look for projects that are easier to complete and take less time.  Score extra points for projects that use items from around the house.

DIY Halloween Projects with #StarburstCandyCorn

Tori Spelling is a mom, too, but she still loves to entertain and craft.  So she’s partnered with Starburst to share a number of crafts using their Candy Corn.  One of the projects she made was a cute “BOO” sign.  It was so cute, actually, that I decided to make one myself! Continue reading »

Thank you to MIRA brands for providing us with a digital kitchen scale to make cooking easier.  All thoughts and words are my own.

One kitchen accessory I’ve always wanted but never picked up was a kitchen scale.  I’d really always thought of kitchen scales as a “nice to have” but not really a need.  They’re not really that expensive, so there’s really no good reason that I hadn’t previously bought one other than the question I ask myself every time I buy a kitchen product: do we have room to store it?

MIRA Digital Kitchen Scale with Stainless Steel Bowl

Now that I have a new MIRA Digital Kitchen Scale, though, I’m not sure how I managed without it before.  First, it let me break into the stack of recipes on Pinterest that I had been saving that only list ingredients by weight, not cups or tablespoons.  In the past it always made me a little sad when I’d find a recipe that was mouth-watering and I couldn’t wait to try, only to find out that I needed 100 grams of almond flour.  Grams don’t scare me off now, though!
