Bubbles is very into “fashion”. She loves going shopping with me to help pick out her own clothes, and she will frequently return from her room wearing something completely different than what she wore going in.
So she was very excited when we were offered the opportunity to review a kidpik subscription box. The kidpik subscription boxes are filled with 5-7 girls fashion items that are sent directly to your door. You might receive shoes, accessories, pants, shorts, tops, dresses, jeans or more.
kidpik Subscription Box
The process to get setup with kidpik is pretty fun. Bubbles sat down at the computer with me and took the style survey. Through the questions the stylist will be able to determine if you prefer skinny jeans or maxi dresses, lace or stripes, and the amount of sparkle she likes.
A stylist will then put together your kidpik subscription box (for free) and ship it to you (for free). Take a look at the items included, try them on, and decide what you want to keep.
Keep the entire box and you’ll receive a 30% discount off the already low prices; a full box averages $75. If not, pay for what you want via the online shopping cart, and send the rest back (for free) with the included mailing envelope. And if you happen to not love anything, you can send the entire box back and not be charged a cent.
In our first kidpik box we received: a pair of sandals, a headband, a pair of distressed jeans, a lightweight sweater, a dress, a pair of shorts, and two different styles of tank tops.
The pieces were pretty much all in the same color family: pink, white, and black. Pink is one of Bubbles’ favorite colors, so that’s perfect for her. Having them all be similar colors makes it really easy to mix and match to create a bunch of different outfits, too.
The black shorts go well with both tank tops that were in the kidpik box. The shorts seem to be really good quality that should hold up to a lot of play. And they’re a little bit adjustable to get the perfect fit.
The sweater and the jeans go together perfectly and will be great for cool summer nights or early fall days. I love the distressed touches that give them a really fashionable touch.
Bubbles wasn’t sure that she was going to love the dress, but once I got her to try it on, she really did. It’s cute without being overly dressy and I can see her wearing it to school events or family gatherings.
It’s really convenient to go through the box when it arrives, have the kiddos try stuff on in the comfort of their own home, even try the pieces on with things you already own. We’ll definitely be checking out another kidpik subscription box in the near future!
These are so cute. I especially love the polka dot dress!!
Awwwwwwwwww! She’s a real fashionista!
