This shop and my suggestions for preschool toys to donate has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #BIGDeal #CollectiveBias

I’ve always felt it was important to teach Bubbles to have a kind and giving heart.  Small acts of kindness go a long way in this world, and I want her to think of others and not just herself.  I also want her to know the joy of brightening someone else’s day.

If you need ideas for preschool toys to donate, here are 5 great options!

As a family, we shop every year for gifts that we’ll donate to the various toy drives and angel trees in town.  Friends and family often comment that they would like to do something similar, but had two concerns in common.  One was the cost of giving during an already expensive time of year (and during an already tough economic climate) and the other was a lack of knowledge in what kids might like.

5 Preschool Toys Under $10

5 Preschool Toys $10 and under, perfect for donating this Christmas: Paw Patrol game, Shopkins puzzles, Star Wars Hot Wheels Launcher, My Little Pony art set, and a Barbie doll!

Here are five preschool toys gift ideas that any kid would love to receive this year.  The best part?   You can find them all for $10 or less at Big Lots.  I love that Big Lots has all the name brand toys and popular characters that kids love, at such a great value.

Paw Patrol Pop Up Game – Paw Patrol anything is hot this year.  This is a fun take on a familiar game that boys or girls would love to receive.

Paw Patrol Pop Up Game would be a fun preschool toy to donate this year

Shopkins Puzzles – You can’t go anywhere without hearing people talk about Shopkins (kids and adults).  This Shopkins Puzzle Pack has multiple puzzles, so there’s lots of variety to play with.  And because they’re wooden, they should hold up nicely for a long while!

My Little Pony Fun Pack – My Little Pony just seems to get more and more popular.  This set contains coloring boards that can be popped out to play with, washable markers, a fun pad and stickers.

Star Wars Hot Wheels Blast & Battle Lightsaber Launcher - Darth Vader

Star Wars Hot Wheels Launcher – Star Wars is on almost every wish list this year, with the latest installment in the franchise set to hit theaters soon.  You can choose from Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, R2-D2 and others in these Hot Wheels Launchers.

Barbie Doll – A classic that still shows up on wish lists every year, Barbie is always a safe bet when buying a gift for someone that you don’t really know their tastes.

Disney Frozen and other preschool toys at Big Lots

With so many great options to choose from, Big Lots really does make it affordable for you to give name brand products without making your wallet cry.

Favorite character wrapping paper like Disney Cars and My Little Pony are at Big Lots

They also have fun wrapping paper options with favorite characters like Cars, Mickey Mouse, Dora the Explorer, The Avengers, TMNT, My Little Pony and more.

The gifts going to the angel tree will be wrapped and Bubbles helped me pick out the paper we’ll use (Cars and MLP).  The rest are going to donation bins so they’ll remain unwrapped.  Bubbles already helped me make the first donation and we’re looking forward to making the rest soon!
