Get Must-Have Products with Giuliana Rancic’s FabFitFun Box

I received a FabFitFun subscription box in order to facilitate my review.  No other compensation was received; all words and opinions are my own.

A week or two ago I shared with you my love of subscription boxes.  I might go so far as to say that subscription boxes are one of my favorite retail introductions of this decade.  Technically, I guess they’re not an entirely new concept.  Lots of companies have always sold mystery boxes, but this second-generation concept helps put a much finer point on what you’re going to receive.  Snacks, kids crafts, gluten-free foods, jewelry, beauty – they’re all available.

And it’s a beauty and health box that I wanted to introduce you to today.  The FabFitFun box is curated by Giuliana Rancic.  If you’re not familiar with Giuliana, she’s a co-host of E! News and Fashion Police, as well as Miss USA and Miss Universe contests.  She and her husband Bill also star in the reality show “Giuliana and Bill”.

FabFitFun is also the name of the website that Giuliana is partnered with.  Their goal for the website is to give women everything they need to feel good from the inside out.  One of the ways they’re doing this is through the VIP FabFitFun subscription box program.  These limited-edition boxes are available once per quarter.  They’re full of full-size products selected by Giuliana and the FabFitFun team specifically for that season.  Valued at over $100, the box is filled with the very best in beauty, fashion, wellness, and fitness.

The summer box that I received was packed full of products that I had never used, and in many cases, had never heard of before.  Some of them are even things I would probably never have purchased on my own but am loving.  For example, the Evian Brumisateur Facial Spray.  Essentially it’s a facial spray, but the unique mineral balance and neutral pH makes it extra-hydrating for hot summer days.  I’ve used it on both myself and Bubbles to keep cool while we’re out and about or even in the backyard playing in the sandbox.

There was also a Catalina Su Lip Gloss in the box in a sandy shade that I didn’t think would work with my skin tone at all.  I was completely wrong and I’m loving this shiny gloss from Giuliana’s own makeup artist, Catalina Su.  The Ivory Mason sunglasses were a little on the small side – I actually think they might be for kids – but there was a note included that directs you to a different website to make a swap for something else if you’d prefer.

I wasn’t entirely sure I’d care for the KIND Dark Chocolate Chili Almond bar.  I like nuts, chocolate, and spice, but together?  In the end, it was surprisingly good and with 7 grams of fiber and 6 grams of protein with only 5 grams of sugar this is a snack you can feel good about.

There are a couple of products I haven’t tried yet.  The Purlisse-Pur Delicate Gentle Soy Milk Cleanser, recently named as one of Vogue’s favorite products, is on my list to try as soon as my current cleanser runs out.  The Infinity Sun Glow on the Go – an all-natural, anti-aging sunless aerosol – will be used to give me sun-kissed skin before all the pictures at my grandmother’s 85th birthday party.  The It Hair Care Surf Spray will probably be passed on to one of my friends; I love the beachy look, but really only when I’ve actually been to the beach.

All of the items above were listed on the card that was included with the box.  In addition to those items there was also a package of Say Yes to Cucumbers Soothing Facial Wipes and a bottle of ORLY nail polish.  I would toss almost all of the contents of the box in a beach tote and call myself packed.

I was truly pleased with my summer FabFitFun box and am hoping to snag one of the fall boxes.  Giuliana just announced on her Facebook page that the fall box will actually have a value of over $175 instead of the regular $100+.  I feel the $49.95 price tag was well-worth it for what I received, especially considering the Ivory Mason sunglasses retail for $350 on their site!  The fall box is looking to be even more of an amazing deal.
