This was brought to you by AdvertiseWithBloggers.com and React Mobile. All thoughts and words are my own.

I use a lot of apps on my phone.  Some of them are for work, like Twitter, and my calendar and email.  Others are for fun, like the handful of games I’ve downloaded.  And still others are for shopping – keeping me on top of my shopping list, coupons, weekly sales flyers, and more.

Only one app can probably be considered “important” and that’s my GPS app.  I am not the word’s best navigator without a map, so having GPS installed means I arrive at my destination on the first try more often than not.  But now I have a second app that I consider to be important, and that’s the React Mobile app.

React Mobile App Standard & Family (Coming Soon)

The React Mobile app is a free download for both iPhone and Android (thank you from an Android user!) that enhances personal safety.  It has a “Follow Me” feature that lets contacts that you have designated keep track of your whereabouts.  If you’re someone that likes to run in the park or are heading somewhere unfamiliar, this can grant you – and your loved ones – extra peace of mind. This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of LEGO. All opinions are 100% mine.

Every year we send out special holiday photo cards to friends and family.  It’s actually one of my favorite traditions of the season, one that most people in this area weren’t familiar with until I introduced them to it.  Usually we have our photos taken professionally, but this year with my new camera, I took it, myself.

The kids are great about induldging me, but I’m sure they think it’s kind of silly.  I know growing up I thought our yearly Christmas picture was more annoying than anything else.  Recently, though, I saw a cute new take on sending a holiday greeting that even kids will love.

This is a sponsored post. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

I’ve always been thankful that the friendships I made in elementary school, junior high, and high school have transcended both the years and the miles.  Since graduation I left Maine for college in Florida, then back to Maine to work for a few years, then back to Florida for a job, and now here in Kentucky.  All the back-and-forth could definitely cause strain on some connections.

The one thing that isn’t always easy is the ability to cheer each other up.  During high school if any of my gal pals were feeling blue over a guy or a grade or anything else, the fix was easy.  We headed out to share a large order of french fries and then back to my house to watch the movie Grease.

Not too long ago one of my BFFs from Maine was having a rough few days.  You know those weeks were absolutely nothing goes right?  She had a couple of those back-to-back and I wanted to do something for her.  So I popped over to one of my favorite gift basket merchants and had a little pick-me-up delivered to her house.
