I’m a Superior Source Brand Ambassador.  I received products and compensation, however all words and opinions are 100% my own.  I am not a doctor and make no health or diagnosis claims.

I’ve been taking B12 in vitamin format for about 6 years now.  My doctor at the time gave me a B12 injection when she noticed my numbers were low, and it gave me so much extra energy that I decided to keep taking it.  I’ve always taken the sublingual version; it’s just so much more convenient than swallowing a pill.

So when Superior Source approached me about partnering with them as a Brand Ambassador, I thought it was a great fit.  They’ve been providing MicroLingual vitamins and supplements for over 40 years.  Even smaller than a sublingual option, MicroLingual tablets are soft molded instant release tablets that are held under the tongue.  And when I say smaller – I mean a lot smaller.  These tiny tablets are approximately 1/10 the size and weight of an equivalent standard swallowed tablet.

If you’re a female over the age of fourteen or so, chances are that someone has had “the talk” with you to explain just what the female body goes through.  Considering the changes can be drastic, confusing, and even sometimes scary or painful, that talk is an important one.  It helps to set expectations and let you know what is coming.

So while you’ve probably had the first talk, have you had – or even heard of – the 2nd Talk?  The 2nd Talk is all about menopause, and Poise would like to see 1 million women join the conversation before October 18th, which is World Menopause Day.

You may think it’s a little strange for me – a 30-something – to be discussing menopause.  Did you know, however, that perimenopause often starts in your 30s or 40s?  Sometimes even earlier!  That was a kind of shocking revelation to me, to be honest.  After all, I don’t consider myself to be old, and I’ve always thought of menopause as something that happens around the same time that you’d retire.  But as I read about the symptoms of perimenopause, I found myself saying, “wow, that’s me” more than once.  Some common symptoms include: Continue reading »

Saving Money On Prescriptions With Walgreens’ Prescription Savings Club

Earlier this week I was at Walgreens to pick up some ice; it’s close to our house and easy to get in and out of when you need something quick like ice or a gallon of milk.  When I checked out the cashier gave me a coupon for a free $25 gift card when you transfer a prescription.
