After our last visit to the Bonefish Grill, Bubbles asked frequently when we could make a return visit. She had absolutely loved the homemade bread they brought to the table, as well as the mac & cheese she ordered as her kids entree.
When I told her we had been invited back to try the Bonefish Grill winter menu she was definitely excited. Hubs was happy, too, as we’ve always enjoyed the meals we’ve had there. The service is great, the food is great, and the ambiance is really nice, too.
Soon after we were seated for dinner they brought the bread that Bubbles loves. It’s great bread, but my eye was also caught by the new Lobster, Crab & Artichoke Dip. It’s part of the Bonefish Grill winter menu and the description of sweet lobster, lump crab, and house-made tortilla chips was too good to pass up.
After we placed our appetizer order, Bubbles entertained herself with the crayons and kids booklet. When she wasn’t eating the bread, that is. It’s served with a tasty dipping oil but our server was observant and brought her a bit of butter for hers.
The chips & dip were delivered with a carafe of water for our table. It was a cute milk bottle-looking carafe and as someone who goes through an entire beverage before the meal arrives, I really liked being able to keep my water topped off.
Hubs had been craving fish & chips, so that’s what he selected. I opted for the Lobster Stuffed Shrimp which is part of the Bonefish Grill winter menu. I like to try something new on each visit and shrimp full of lobster and shrimp stuffing sounded appealing.
Bubbles got her standard: the kids mac & cheese. It comes with a drink and fries and she eats every last bite every single time. For our family, a restaurant that has an appetizing kids menu is important.
We were almost bursting when our server came to ask if wanted dessert, but who can say no to Chocolate Crème Brûlée? Especially after my husband let it slip that he had never sampled it before. It was a large enough portion that the three of us shared it and were completely satisfied.
Be sure to stop in and check out the Bonefish Grill Winter Menu while it’s still available. Beyond what I named above there are other options, too. Stop in for a break from shopping, to celebrate with visiting friends or family, or just to take a quiet moment in the middle of a busy season.
I’ve never been to Bonefish Grill, but we have one nearby. I’d love to try the
Lobster Thermidor Dorado (Mahi) from their Winter Menu.
Thank you for the review.
