I received a DVD of Chuggington videos in order to facilitate my review. All thoughts and words are my own.
Bubbles has taken a real shine to motorized vehicles that talk. Of course, my husband is thrilled, because this means lots of play time with trains, planes, cars, and all other manner of things that go. Where trains are concerned, she especially likes Chuggington.
We’ve watched a few Chuggington videos, mostly on TV at night as we’re trying to settle down for bed. So I of course had to say yes when we were offered a review copy of the new Chuggington DVD Brewster Leads the Way. It’s definitely received a lot of play time as Bubbles has worked to learn the names of all her train buddies.
The Chuggington series focuses on three main trains: Wilson, and his friends Brewster and Koko. They participate in challenges that test courage, speed, and determination. They’re supported by a number of other trains, and people too, that help them learn the skills they need to be the best trains possible.
In Brewster Leads the Way, most of the episodes are focused on Brewster. The adventures include saving friends from a flash flood, fixing up Old Puffer Pete, learning about leadership, and more. By the end of the DVD you’ll know a lot more about Wilson’s buddy, and I promise you’ll have the “Chugga Chugga Chug-ga, Chugg-ington” song in your head! The full episode list includes:
- Brewster Leads the Way
- Track Laying Brewster
- Babysitting Brewster
- Brewster Meets the Mayor
- Poor Old Puffer Pete
- Old Puffer Pete’s Firebox
- BONUS: Badge Quest Adventure – Brewster’s Carwash
- BONUS: New Chug Patrol: Ready to Rescue music video
There are also included coloring and activity pages that you can print out, too. I love when DVDs include those types of extras, as it allows the fun to continue even when kiddos aren’t watching the movie. Plus, with as much as Bubbles loves to color, it’s always nice to have a few extra coloring pages on hand!
The Chuggington DVD Brewster Leads the Way is available for purchase starting today! And I have a copy of Brewster Leads the Way for one lucky reader, too. Giveaway closed – congrats Stephanie M!
