Another week of Nutrisystem down, and another pound down to match! I love that I continue to see the scale inch it’s way down each week. While I wish it was taking the stairs two at a time, I do know that what took 9 months to put on won’t come come off in 9 days, and I’m still very pleased with my success. The weather still has been unseasonably beautiful; most days are in the 70s, with an occasional thunder storm here and there. It’s made it very nice to still be able to put Bubbles in her stroller and take our daily walk (at least a mile per day), and my arms are getting a small workout pushing her in the swing of her new swing set.

Bubbles Swinging on the Swing Set
I’m hoping to slowly build up to two miles on each of our walks; Bubbles can get a little restless after awhile, but is really digging pointing out the birds, flowers, and trees, so that helps keep her attention for us to push onward. We also get a little extra walking in when we make our weekly visits to the mall, Kohl’s, and the grocery. (By the way – yes, that counts! Any time you’re in motion, you’re getting exercise. It might not be aerobic, but every little bit helps, especially for those who are just starting out on adding fitness to their routines.)
Here is where I stand:
Previously: -11 lbs
Week 11: -1 lbs
Total: – 12 lbs
If you remember, my personal goal for March was a 7 pound loss; the pound from this past week brings me to a loss of 6 for the month, so I need to really focus to ensure I hit the final pound this week. Setting these mini-goals has been really helpful to me, since it’s easier and less overwhelming to work towards a smaller number than you’re entire goal weight loss. I’ll be deciding on and setting my April goal soon, and I’ll share it with you next week.
