This is what my to-do list has looked like lately!
Normally this time of year is fairly tame. Lots of football-watching, some chili-making, a couple of zoo trips, and enjoying the last few warm-but-not-too-hot days of fall. But over the last three weeks, we’ve had company (my parents came to stay for a week), the ABC Kids Expo, and the Graco event. Our hectic schedule ended with A2 breaking his finger and requiring surgery last week.
I had scheduled some posts to go live for you all during that time, as I knew I probably wouldn’t have much time to write. However, things didn’t go quite as planned, and the posts never published. So I’ve been going back and releasing a few of them each day so as to not overwhelm you with information. For those that subscribe via email or RSS that’s why you’re seeing a few “old” posts come through.
Things should be settling down now (at least until Christmas gets a little closer!) so we should be back on track and more consistent. I just wanted to let everyone know why things had been a little “silent” for a few days!

I’m glad you’re having a relaxed time! I’m looking forward to things slowing down just a bit for us now, too – and then we’re on to Thanksgiving, A1’s birthday, Black Friday, and of course Christmas!
Ugh. It feels incredibly busy for me, too. I’m actually looking forward to next month and having some down time
