I’ve spent the past few days pouring over the site, sampling this and that. There are literally hundreds of classes that I want to take! I love how easy it is to find courses and tutorials that are relevant to me; I can search by subject (like business, photography, or design) and by software, and if I find a course author I really love, I can even search by author. From there I can break it down by my comfort level: all, beginner, intermediate, advanced.
Subscriptions can be purchased either on a monthly basis (a good choice if you just want to test it out, or if you only have something specific you want to learn) for $25/month, or for $250 you can receive a full year of access to all the goodies at a savings over the monthly option. New courses are added weekly, so with the annual subscription, you’ll never miss a thing! And if you’re someone who travels a lot for work, and think maybe you wouldn’t get the full benefit of a yearly membership – lynda.com can go with you. They have a mobile site plus iPhone and iPad apps with streaming video to let you continue your lessons no matter where you go.

I would love to learn about Photoshop Elements 10 with my teenage daughter. She got the software for Christmas last year and we have no idea what to do with it!
I’d probably go thru most all the courses in the Developer section. I’m playing around with jQuery these days, I could probably stand some formal instruction.
