If I Had a Million Dollars…. Pin Me! Thursday

A record lottery was drawn last week, so I’m sure there are a lot of people that were pondering “What would I do with the money if I won?”.  It’s also a little ironic because back in January Matter of Cents and I had scheduled this week’s Pin Me! Thursday theme to be “If I Had a Million Dollars….”.  Because those “if I…” conversations were already fresh in my mind, it wasn’t hard to put together my list this week.

First up would be to build our dream home, maybe something like this one (can you just imagine sitting on a swing or in rocking chairs on this deck, drinking hot chocolate, while the kids run around outside catching lightning bugs?)

Of course, the dream home would have to have a big, open kitchen.  Maybe something like this.

And since it’s a dream home, it would have a crafting/gift wrapping/office like this (a dream, because there’s no way I’d have time to use it for the next 17 years):

And a bathroom something like this (with a fireplace in there, somewhere).

With a room for Bubbles like this… (not sure why, but it makes me think of Winkin’, Blinkin’, and Nod)

…until she’s older, and then something like this (that’s a PIRATE SHIP you can see in the mirror reflection. That they can climb up into, climb the crow’s nest, and basically just rock their worlds):

Plus a very cool bunk room like this one, great for family at holidays or a place for A1′s college and A2′s HS friends to crash.

And a beautiful outdoor entertaining area with a kitchen (it must also have a pizza oven).

Then maybe a little bling?  I love Princess-cut.

And some travel.  I’d love to see the lantern festival in Honolulu, Hawaii.

And then wrap up with a little shopping spree to fill up the new walk-in closets in the new house.
