Back when I worked for MBNA, our office was only about two miles away from the nearest Dunkin’ Donuts. At least once a day someone was making a run for our building, keeping us fueled with coffee and donuts.
But Dunkin’ Donuts is more than just coffee and donuts. They also have a fairly extensive line of breakfast sandwiches, bakery sandwiches, and both hot and cold specialty drinks. And to kick off the new year, they’ve brought back their Chicken Apple Sausage Breakfast Sandwich.
Recently I was asked to write a sponsored post and had the chance to visit a local Dunkin’ Donuts to check the Chicken Apple Sausage Breakfast Sandwich out. It’s available as an all-day breakfast option which is great, in my opinion. Getting up and out of the house before breakfast hours end at most restaurants isn’t always easy.
Before heading over I peeked at the Dunkin’ Donuts app on my phone to see what offers were available. I had a free coffee open to me, so I ordered the Chicken Apple Sausage Breakfast Sandwich, my coffee, and some hash browns. I even gave myself the luxury of sitting down and eating inside the restaurant, as opposed to just driving through the pick-up window.
The Chicken Apple Sausage Breakfast Sandwich was really good. I like chicken and turkey sausage quite a bit, anyway, and this sausage was plump and juicy. Paired with the eggs and cheese, it was a filling sandwich that kept my hunger at bay all morning and afternoon. I chose to have mine served on an English muffin, but they also have bagels, croissants, or flat bread if you’d prefer.
