I received an Evenflo ProComfort Symphony DLX car seat and compensation in order to facilitate my review. All words and opinions are my own.
Bubbles has always been tall, usually in the 85-90th percentile for height. But lately she seems to have taken another growth spurt. Clothes, shoes – not much fits for long.
Another thing she has been outgrowing? Her car seat. Even though weight-wise and age-wise she still met the requirements, I just felt like she was getting a little cramped in there. So when the Evenflo ProComfort Symphony DLX All-In-One car seat arrived on our doorstep recently, I was really interested to see just how it would stack up.
The Evenflo ProComfort Symphony DLX is really the only car seat you’ll likely ever need to purchase, as it’s designed to grow with your baby. It’s rated for children from five pounds all the way up to 110 pounds, and works rear-facing, front-facing, and as a booster.

We are currently using it forward-facing, but I love that in a few months when Bubbles will be ready for a booster, we won’t need to shop for another seat.
Evenflo ProComfort Symphony Features
There was one feature that I quickly noticed as my husband was getting it ready to install in the car. It’s designed with Buckle Pockets, which tuck the buckle tongues right out of the way. It also eliminates the need to dig around in the seat to try and find them when you’re putting your child in. As that is one of my husband’s biggest frustrations with car seats, he also greatly appreciated this feature.
The car seat is designed with Gel Matrix Technology. This engineered material helps keep kids as comfortable as possible and reduces pressure point build-up. While safety is obviously the most important factor, comfort is key, too. Comfortable kids are content kids, and content kids cause less distractions while driving.
Installing and adjusting the seat was incredibly easy. The Infinite Slide Harness provides easy, safe, and accurate fit of the shoulder harness, and eliminates the need for re-threading as your child grows. The 5-point harness also adjusts from the front, making it very easy to access and make sure your child is always secure.
The SureLATCH technology was also pretty cool. You simply click LATCH into your vehicle; when you push down you will be able to hear and see the seat auto-tighten. Paired with the e3 Side Impact Protection, which reduces side impact crash forces by up to 50%, you can feel confident in the security of the seat.
The Evenflo ProComfort Symphony DLX is available at Target or Target.com.
I love this seat; my daughter is growing out of her seat and I will look into this one; thanks for sharing and Evenflo has always been a favorite of mine
I remember that stage when the kids outgrew things left and right! My favorite feature is the buckle pockets. I always hated digging around trying to find all that stuff!
That is a very fancy and comfortable looking car seat. Thanks for sharing. They have come such a long way since my kids were younger.
Does look like a great seat! My daughter is small, so she would be able to be in this for a LONG time!!!
That looks like a nice sturdy and safe car seat!
I like the looks of this car seat. I haven’t heard of the Gel Matrix Technology but sounds like something I would look for if I was buying a new one.
