Halloween was always a fun event growing up in my family.  We lived in a sort of rural area and this meant that Trick or Treating was not a walking affair.  We would put on our Halloween costumes, load into the car, and then drive around to each house to collect candy, homemade popcorn balls, and other goodies (we only went to the houses of friends and family).

After we were done making all our stops we would head to my grandparents house for homemade donuts, brownies and cider and wait for my 1st cousins to arrive.  Then we’d dump out our candy and trade each other for favorites.  Over the years more and more people would make my grandparents’ house their last stop – or in some cases, their only stop – so they could enjoy the homemade donuts and other goodies and to visit with friends and family they didn’t often see.  On some Halloweens the crowd grew to nearly 100 – not bad considering the population of the town was only 1500.

One of my other favorite parts of Halloween was choosing my costume.  A couple of my favorites were Princess Leia (complete with laser tag gun and ear-bun hair) and an E.T. costume that my grandmother made for me (she’s a very talented seamstress).  A1 and A2 enjoyed being ninjas (for multiple years).  And now costume selections will start for Baby C.

One place I will definitely shop for our future costume needs will be the Costume Supercenter.  They have so many to choose from!  Being a Disney fan of course the first thing I searched for were the Disney Halloween costumes.  I saw a number of them that I liked including a sweet Minnie Mouse and an adorable Eeyore.

Taking into consideration that I needed an infant size costume and the fact that I wanted something Disney but I didn’t want something with headpieces (might be overwhelming for her) or extra accessories (she puts everything in her mouth) I finally selected the Infant Snow White Ballerina costume.  It came in size 12-18 months and Baby C is only 6 months old so I was worried that it might swallow her up.  While it is a little big it definitely isn’t huge on her.

The costume is so cute and she looks (I think) adorable in it.  A little Disney princess!  It was super easy and fast to put on her; a bonus for a kid that has to be chased down three times during the diaper-changing process.  The quality is also very good: no loose threads and all the embellishments were securely attached.  In addition to Halloween this will make a great dress-up outfit.

Where to Buy
You can purchase the Infant Snow White Ballerina costume from the Costume Supercenter for $19.97.

I received a product for free in order to facilitate my review.  I received no additional compensation.  All opinions are completely that of my and my family.
