Are you done your holiday shopping yet?  Not me!  I feel so behind this year, because normally right about now I’m just crossing a stocking stuffer or two off my list to finish up, but this year I’m not even 50% done.

I found myself shopping at Target the other day, trying to knock a few things off of Ashley’s wish list.  She’s already secured a teaching job, so after graduation in the spring, she’ll be moving a few hours away where she’ll have her very first apartment.  Target gift cards were on her list as she knows they carry lots of great items for home decoration and storage plus items to stock her kitchen.

While wandering around the home department I came across the Rubbermaid Bento Organizers.  I was immediately drawn to their design; we have a chair with a similar pattern.  After taking a few minutes to examine them more closely, I was also impressed with the actual construction.  The interior pockets flex to accommodate the items, letting you create just the right size and shape compartments for what you’re storing. Finding snacks that the whole family will enjoy can be a bit tough.  This is especially true when you’re talking about a mix of toddlers and teens.  Pureed fruit and vegetable pouches don’t do a lot for Austin and protein bars aren’t exactly appropriate for Bubbles.

However the other day I was shopping at my second home – Target – and I saw a new addition in the snack aisle.  Goldfish Puffs.  Now, I’ve tried a lot of Goldfish crackers.  I remember eating them as a kid, myself, and with having a toddler they’re a staple in our house.  We buy the original, cheddar, multi-color, graham, pretzel – all kinds, really.  But Goldfish Puffs weren’t something I had even heard of before.  You can see our whole day of shopping at Target. Target’s New Fieldcrest Luxury Pillows Make Getting A Good Night’s Sleep A Breeze

Our bed sort of looks like a pillow factory exploded all over it.  Not that we use all of the pillows, we’ve just sort of acquired them over time as we search for “the” pillow to use.  The ones we use each night are the ones we’ve most been able to tolerate but “the” pillow has always alluded us, which is unfortunate because getting a decent night’s sleep when you have a baby or toddler is already a challenge.

Having recently had the opportunity, however, to try the new Fieldcrest Luxury Pillows featuring DACRON Memory Fiber I can honestly say my personal search for “the” pillow is over.  I laid my head on it before even slipping it into our pillow cases and it was so incredibly soft, thanks to the 300 thread count cotton sateen stripe cover.  The pillows themselves are hypoallergenic and machine-washable (a huge plus!).

From the very first night we slept on them I have experienced a noticeable improvement in the quality of my sleep.  It’s just so darn comfortable!  The pillows are large enough that they cradled my head with plenty of space on all sides.  You know those stress-relief squeeze balls that feel like they’re filled with a thick gel?  The pillow kind of reminded me of that.  When I woke up the next morning I could see where the pillow had formed itself to my sleep position.  It quickly poofed back up and filled the pillow case, though.

The pillows will launch exclusively at Target and Target.com this month.  When they do they will retail at less than half the price of most natural down pillows!  Soft, easy to clean, affordable, and – most importantly – comfortable.  Now if only we could find a mattress that’s as comfortable as these pillows…
