This vanilla eggnog milkshake recipe is a partnered post with International Delight. All words, thoughts and recipes are my own.

If you’ve been around this week you may have heard that I’m kind of in a milkshake mood (and before you get all excited, Mom, that doesn’t mean I’m having cravings).  And while a good chocolate shake will always be top of my list, I do like to experiment with different flavor combinations, especially seasonal ones.  And what’s more seasonal right now than eggnog?

Very Vanilla Eggnog Milkshake Recipe

Growing up I wasn’t that much of an eggnog fan.  Or a fan at all to be more accurate.  And hubby said he didn’t like it much, either.  But as you age, your tastes change, and I thought it was time for us to give it another chance. Continue reading »

This DIY coffee creamer bottle snowman post is sponsored by TapInfluence. All words and opinions are my own.

The other day I was pouring a little of the seasonal International Delight Sugar Cookie coffee creamer into my afternoon coffee, and I heard Bubbles singing in the other room.  As the words “Do you want to build a snowman?” drifted my way, I looked down at the coffee creamer bottle in my hand and realized – yes, yes I did.  I wanted to build a snowman.

DIY Marshmallow Dispenser: Coffee Creamer Bottle Snowman

The shape of a plastic coffee creamer bottle lends itself perfectly to being transformed into a snowman.  And because after you peel the label off they’re already kind of a milky-white color, there’s not a lot of work that needs to be done.  This is literally one of the easiest DIY projects you’ll ever try, but the results are down-right adorable. This pumpkin spice buttercream frosting recipe is sponsored by International Delight. All thoughts and words are my own.

Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve really been enjoying the onset of fall and all the things that go with that.  Corn mazes and pumpkin patches, football, and sampling all the flavors of fall.

One of my favorite fall flavors is pumpkin spice. By the volume of Pinterest pins, commercials, and Facebook commentary surrounding pumpkin spice, apparently I’m not alone.  Whether it’s sipping pumpkin spice coffee or eating pumpkin spice muffins, it’s everywhere you turn. Continue reading »

This apple turnover recipe post is brought to you by International Delight.

One of the great things about fall are the flavors that just seem synonymous with it.  I find myself cooking with more apples, pumpkins, maple syrup, cinnamon, and more.  Let’s just say that our house smells really, really good lately.

Apple Turnover Recipe with French Vanilla Glaze #IDelight

On the top of my husband’s list of requests this time of year is anything in the “apple pie family”.  Pies, tarts, muffins, breads – the specific form doesn’t matter as much as that apple pie taste.  Which is good, because I like to mix things up a little. Continue reading »

I’m really not sure how I would make it through the day without my morning cup of coffee.  Partly because of the caffeine pick-me-up, and partly because it’s just a nice way to start the day with a couple of quiet minutes.

Morning Coffee Moment with Chocolate Caramel Muffins #IDelight

August is National Coffee Month and I thought it only appropriate to celebrate with some tasty muffins that you can indulge in while you drink your coffee.  They even have a little coffee creamer in them for some extra flavor, so it’s kind of like celebrating twice. Continue reading »
