It’s always exciting when My Little Pony DVDs arrive at our house from our friends at Shout! Factory.  I try to make each new release special by making a yummy treat or fun craft that matches the theme.  So when I saw Pinkie Pie holding a bowl of popcorn on the back of the MLP Equestria Girls: Magical Movie Night DVD, the idea for Pinkie Pie’s Party Popcorn immediately came to mind.

Beauty & the Beast is one of my all-time favorite Disney movies.  I actually did my high school French class project on it, translating the song “Tale as Old as Time” into French.  I still can’t hear the song without “belle et la bête” running through my head.

We’re kind of big fans of Angry Birds around here.  When she was around three, Bubbles was sitting with Daddy while he was playing Angry Birds on his phone.  She reached down and after a few minutes was successfully passing levels like a pro.

I’ve been excited to see Jurassic World since I first heard it was being made.  I still remember watching the first Jurassic Park movie when it came out and being entirely in awe when those first dinosaurs came into view as they rolled up in the little Jeeps.

Of course after my Chris Pratt interview awhile back, I was looking forward to seeing him in another role.  I had really wanted to see it in theaters but I was afraid that even though she wanted to see it, it may be too overwhelming and scary for Bubbles.  And with Ashley in Indy teaching and Austin away doing his Army training, our babysitting options are a bit limited at the moment.
