Best-Ever Corn Fritters Recipe

- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2½ cups flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- ¾ cups milk
- 2 T melted butter
- 1 can creamed corn
- oil, for frying
- maple syrup, optional
- Mix all ingredients together to form a wet dough.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet or deep fryer to 365.
- Drop by small spoonfuls into oil and cook 2-3 minutes per side, until deep golden brown.
- Remove to paper towel-lined plate to drain.
- Drizzle with maple syrup, if desired.
- Serve warm.
